I used that exact technique on three different people and it was the easiest thing in the world. It's perfect for getting immediate control. Good lesson.
Great video, most people never concentrate on how to get the lock correctly, always see people with there palm on the shoulder and struggling
Great to see someone teaching a proper technical hammerlock!
Good breakdown. I'm used to calling this a hammerlock, and it becomes a chicken wing if you use your free hand to pull their thumb up (if you start to lose hand-chops-elbow position), I haven't seen your Restraint and Control DVD but I'd imagine you'd include either that or similar failsafes for the technique. Thanks for a quality vid!
Easy to understand, expert coaching-thanks

I love this know I can do this in school for self defents
I used it in Prison for self defense. The ultimate test. I'm still alive.
Have you tried a variant of the chicken wing, called "Applepickle up the Brown Barrel"?
This is very similar to Chin Na.
Yes, joint locking techniques are similar.
How to buy your DVD? Your website is down.
does this work if your 5ft7 bouncer appling it to 6ft5 big muscle man>
It would depend. You can always create "what ifs" to defeat things.
Size doesnt matter
man's chicken winged someone for hating Billy Gibbons lol
So that's how the bouncers kicked me out?
The story of how a security broke my arm during a drunk night out..
hahahahah west ridge academy uses this 🧟♀️🧟♀️
That doesn't look like it works
If it works then why don't catch wrestlers and bjj practioners use this stupid video. Anything would work on a drunk scoundrel so don't use that as an example
