They are worse on conquest, they like to wack a buff then let it regen, I watched a ra spend 6mins one a red buff. Late game I had two bots just turn off.

I think the problem with the bots is that they probably all have the same basic AI. Yeah, they can hit their abilities, but how you play a god like Anubis and how you play Terra, or Izanami, are completely different, therefore the same AI simply doesn't work, especially for gods who can do have multiple tactics and choice; e.g. Terra, she can smash her obelisk or she can leave it, she can smash her walls, or she can collapse them, or simply zone. The decision making that would be needed for Anubis does not compare to Terra and their abilities are in NO WAY the same.
I also don't see them fully understanding the concept of futility/best course of action, or really even CC/combo. To elaborate, if I was @ 25% and an assassin is directly in front of me I'm NOT going to get away 9/10, 10/10 if I try to run in an obvious straight line, here it would make more sense to fight and try to turn or dmg for the team. Regarding CC/combos ( really just abilities in general) I think they only see it as hit or miss, e.g. Anubis bot would never wrap > circle > ult/cone, they would just throw out whatever they have as you get in range, as we see with Ymir. They don't understand conditional abilities, meaning "cancel Ymir ult to do dmg before they leave", "Reactivate Olorun steroid to shoot projectile", etc.
10/10. pls do more with different bots like 5 cabrakan, 5 amc, 5 bellona etc

Doing a 1v5 against bots reminds me of what spawn delay truly means, go 65-6 but lose because bots spawn in under 10 seconds, I'm waiting over a minute

Hey Solodoublej! Have you ever tried the cabrakan ult with the ymir wall? Use the ymir wall with the cabi ult so they cant escape and then have someone with an op aoe ult over that, obviously works best with enemy gods that doesn't have a jump but when you can pull it off its funny af.
5 AI he bo or 5 AI hades is the most cancer thing i have played against. he bo knocked up for days or just getting silenced over and over is a rip
Maybe they're programmed to miss some amount of abilities? So maybe they look at stats of games and see "oh 50% of the time players hit the freeze" and make the bots do that. This would make them have crazy accuracy with their ice spikes since most of the time a freeze is a guaranteed ice spike. so from a numbers perspective players hit it more often.
That's just me thinking though.
If Hi-Rez wants to make the bots more human, just have them laugh spam

When normal Smite is to hard to get a good game, so you're forced into doing an AI game

The Anubis bots only use their ultimate when you get close to them. Just stay away and never worry about it.

@@thotslayersupreme8077 you used to be able to do 1v9s by swapping bots from one team to the other and quickly start before the option was canceled out. I wish custom games at least let you make games like a 6v4 (same 10 players no additional strain on the servers, but lets you do silly fun things) At least they did not remove the 1v5 option.

Its nice that these bots can do jungle buffs now, but they dont pick it up. Thats a little bit wasted for my opinion. Also I dont like that they jump around like monkeys and that they stand right before the tower hitbox if there are no minions who attack the tower. Like the last bot they run away if they have about 20% health left. You can easily kill them and they dont fight back. They miss spells much more than old bots (makes it fair, but we need hard bots who hit every spell xD).

Yes so fking true. I play Co op Arena all the time & yes they totally upgraded the bots. I was pissed off before & even more pissed off now with these bots. Definitely more player like. I was there was a hard too.

Bots are crazy now in conquest they will chase you across the map just to kill you the won’t lose agrow

Play bots in assault to really see how bad the AI is. When they get low, they will try to return to fountain to heal... which of course, you can't in assault. So you end up with a bunch of bots with low health standing at fountain. lol
This was Awesome
with the new bot update that titan forge did, it basically made bots FARM jungles now but it also made bots fucking retarded. they stay trying to run into your tower to pressure you but they're coded to not actually go into tower range so when there's a few bots there and there's only you, you get immediately cc'd and dead. it's fucking dumb, they made bots worse. also makes bots jump, meaning they can't use relics when they're supposed to or sometimes can't get abilities off properly.
I did a 5 hebo bot enemies against me who played as Medusa. It felt like I was in waterworld.
He literally just non stop compliments the ai then takes away the compliment.
Hey double j play clash... There they updated so the bots defend jungle buffs and help other lanes... Sometimes... It's really funny especially when the bots on your team are feeding their AI-brains out

The point of the update was not to make them better, but seemingly more like actual players. You even mentioned it.

Its more strange that they dont follow up with combos than walking away at low health. If ymir froze, spiked, and ulted all in row x 5 then you would have no shot. If anubisi all wrapped and ulted after you would have no chance.
What about a khepri, Sylvanus and herc team where you only pull early game?
