Nice instructional video, fellas! Surprised we haven't been seeing more of these systems yet in the SF Bay Area.

Very good step by step video, especially for the electrical part. I still have a question: I have the lunos smart confort 5/SC-FT control panel for my e2 FR unit. There is what seems like switch wire on the control unit (a red, black and grey wire), but in my mind i don't need a switch since i have the control panel. Are these obsolete? Do i need them?

And then when the drywall boys show up they rotozip right through that wire that was only cut into a small notch. Happened to me. Can't control all the trades so why not cut the wire back the thickness of the drywall?

Is there a way for these to work with a 12V supply?

Yes, Lunos systems actually work on 12v power supply. That is why each kit comes with a transformer to convert from 110 power supply, it need to step down to 12v. So to operate with 12v you would simply not install the transformer. You would, however, need to ensure steady, consistent 12v was being supplied to the units and ensure proper wiring.
