    Electric needs to prove their metal. Even the fast charging takes 40 minutes for a 100 kilometer run. Petrol takes about 2-5 minutes for about 250 kilometers. How electrics will fight back will be interesting.

      all the EVs are meant to charge at home overnight and it gives a decent range to commute for whole day. So i don't see a problem here. Its just that if you want to travel long distances then it's not a good option.

    • @vikhneshar104
      @vikhneshar104 3 года назад +6

      Their is more to the story
      No one is travling more than a 100km every day on a Scooter
      So an Ev can easily be charged over night
      Not mention all the advantages comming with an Ev
      Like
      *Better performace*
      *No maintanence*
      *No emissions*
      *Low Cost per km*
      For 100km
      ICE Scooter will cost ₹200
      (considering an average 50km/l fuel economy & a ₹100/l fuel price)
      An
      Electric Scooter will cost only ₹30 for 100km
      ( considering an average electricity pricing around ₹7 per unit)
      All these comes at a cost but you easily get your money back by driving an Ev for an year

      @@vikhneshar104 Also very little maintenance on EVs while ICE would require oil , air filter and park plug change

      @@sivam_bajpai i think the original comment wanted to talk about the unfortunate incident where you forgot to charge your scooter(or the power was out idk) on the night and you are now suddenly facing a low battery issue. You'll need either an astonishing amount of range, or a good charging network. A petrol vehicle, when faced with the same situation will only take about 2 mins to refuel and get going.

    • @ameyapandarkar5085
      @ameyapandarkar5085 3 года назад

      Also the "fast-charging" is still in a primitive state. You need around 40-60 mins to get a good amount of range, and although it's good engineering, it's still pretty useless in rush/emergency situations. It's only useful if you work in an office and you leave it to charge somewhere nearby...

    The most problematic scooter!
    It's indicator gets jammed real quick when a drop of water gets in.Accelator also.
    And the main major problem is when we ride it with a pillion then the rear tyre touches something which also makes sounds and makes the ride uncomfortable.
    I told the tvs workers while servicing but they just ignore it.

It’s ok if all you do is potter around town or city, buy next to hopeless if you regularly make a long commute or use the bike mostly for touring. And isn’t Toyota going to make electric obsolete with hydrogen or methane by 2030?
