Whiteline sway bars 👌 when I installed em on my gt86 I feel like the sway bars makes the car feels less flimsy to flex and more planted 🤷♂️ which = more grip
Yeah going between my fully poly suspension Rx8 to my daily 22 club RF is pretty night and day. The first time I experienced the ND body roll I almost shit myself because I couldn't believe how bad it was. I was hoping the Bilsteins would have been stiff enough to be bearable. Really wanted to avoid buying swaybars, but it is tempting.
I bought the progress sway bars from goodwin racing for my ND and I'm super happy the car feels so much better on the highway , regular streets ,and corners! It's such a joy to drive it now
If nothing else convinces me to get the sway bars, your video description is the perfect sales pitch! Too bad I can't even afford front tires for my ND, i'm getting so excited to build it..
im about to install a rear swaybar on my lancer that at stock HAS NO REAR SWAYBAR so judging by how much of a difference it gave you, i should get some mad results. Great video legend, Eric is a random asf man hahaha
Yoo Griff, just wanted to ask about your camera setting for the lowlight POV. Could you comment on your ISO settings/whether you lock exposure? I'd like to hear from someone actually making content!
beautiful video man i can sit down and hear u talk with no problems and i vouch for the longer 20 minute 30 minute videos as i always want more 4touge action. Maybe less cuts on working on the cars or just more commentary but overall amazing man
I threw in an H&R 26mm RSB in my GTI. Still rocking the factory FSB. My goal was to get a tiny bit of oversteer bias set up for my chassis which being FWD, makes it exciting. I might throw in a FSB at a later date. Not anything beefy like my rear though. But more rigid than factory to help turn in. Without resetting my car's balance to be more towards understeer,
damn, Verus aero mods before sway bars lol. I wish I had the cash for the aero, honestly not worth the buck compared to sway bars which literally double the car's capabilities :') amazing, #1 mod for almost every single car for sure
The stock front bar is hard cause of the rubber mounting bushing. I had taken off three swaybars off of mine, the stock, Cusco (what stock should of came with), and Racing Beat (way too stiff, lost traction less mechanical grip), finally ended up with with Megan Racing which I think are perfect for spirited mountain driving mated with my SakeBomb Ohlins Long Travel coilovers. I didn't have to lower anything, only took of all the plastic covers and small parts in the front wheel well, part of making it easier was to turn the steering wheel for more clearence.
I'd love to put new sways on mine but no way in hell I'm taking my car this much apart to do it. #1, I'd probably fuk it up, #2 I'd forget how to put it back together.
I almost want to spend the big $ on the Karcepts front sway bar. Overkill for street use but you can just cut the old one out and slide the spline in and skip all that bullshit.
Sway bars are definitely a underrated mod, completely transformed my e30 as well. I always recommend people do sway bars at some point.

ND with coils and sway bars literally feels like a video game lol

Looks much more agile now.
Less delay in the roll.
It's a touge monster now.
No rub! ❤️

Swaybars in general is such a good upgrade

lets gooooo, back with the great content
Nice, love the content man
One of the reasons I went with the karcept sway bar.. Cut out the oem one and save yourself 95% of the install time 😂.
YES SIR
I should get some sway bars for me... I mean my friend who just got an ND 😅
One day I’ll also have a ND
Reason #63 why I'm glad I have an NC.

I noticed the Whiteline kit has two brackets as part of it? Did you guys put it on? Just wondering what its even for
What stiffness setting did you go for? Why didn't you get a rear sway bar? Do you want the car to oversteer?
Is it just me, or is the 10 sec song by 96migrant?
~Why does Griffin turn like that? Like going back and forth with the steering wheel while in a turn?
