    I'm 38 and the times are so different. I miss the old days when people were not so sensitive and quick to try and destroy someone's career because they simply don't agree with them. I grew up listening to Eminem, and now I feel old lol. Great vid man!!

    Hi. Great reaction. :)
    Just my opinion. I’m a 38yr half white/half Cherokee (adopted) woman. Grew up very loved and very privileged. Didn’t matter. Had issues from the jump. Chemical imbalance, at the start of when ADD and ADHD was barely recognized. Was labeled different/trouble bc I took and still take medications for it. That help me effing function at a “normal” level of existence. B/c I started therapy. Bc I was just “more tan” enough to be separate. Before that was labeled as just stupid. By my own teachers. Even though I had a high school reading level, in third grade.
    When his first album dropped, we were in our mid teens. We. Were. Angry. We were angry with being mollycoddled, we were angry at our government, at the constant wars, 9/11, the passive reactions we asked for, for help. He gave us a voice. All of us. If anything, for me, growing up he united everyone in my generation, yes, millennials, together. If people don’t get that he’s making a point being outrageous, then don’t listen to him. But for Me, he means so so much. He allowed me, to be comfortable and vocal in my anger. And as a young girl then, it was incredibly empowering. Helped me be the woman I am today. Not afraid to voice my opinion or say no or stand up for myself. And I have a wicked sense of humor. Loyal 100% forever. Love him and his music then. Love him and his music now.

    Couldnt agree more man about this era of Eminem being the greatest. But it could also be a age thing, im 34 and bought his first album in 99 as a kid, and bought the following albums also, so i kind of grew up with this era of Em'. The later music is ok also but not nearly what it used to be.

    If you guys had a chance to change eminems age with yourself would you do it? For example I'm 22 and eminem is 49 Ior 50 would you change ages if you had a magic wand and make him be 22 and you 49 honestly eminem would destroy all these little wannabe rappers and cancel culture to the ground.

    • @KRayTV1
      @KRayTV1  2 года назад +3

      Naw I wouldn't change his age only because while I believe he was more feared in his youth he has moved past his demons per sai and I wouldn't want to send him back there. Plus the times are different he can't say everything he said back then without the mob coming for him

    Cancel culture is systematically taking away our right to free speech. Like Eminem said, get a sense of humour. Stop being offended by everything and acting like children when someone says something you didn’t like. The fact that ppl say he couldn’t say this nowadays is a problem. Snowflakes everywhere. Wth is everyone so sensitive nowadays? I don’t gaf if you’re offended.

    • @KRayTV1
      @KRayTV1  2 года назад +3

      I def agree. Ppl are too sensitive and if you don't like a persons content then don't consume it, but trying to cancel them for it is dumb to me
