We are back with another Angra song this time from the album Temple of Shadows comes the song The Temple of Hate, and we are gonna dive in and have a first listen to that song, fans of Angra get in those comments and feed me all the goods you know about this amazing band!
Angra is a Brazilian heavy metal band formed in 1991 that has gone through some line-up changes since its foundation. They have released nine regular studio albums, five EPs, and three live CD/DVDs to date. Led by Rafael Bittencourt, the band has gained a degree of popularity in Japan and Europe.

I grew up listening to these guys, I fucking love this band. Fun fact: in this song there are two legendary vocalists Edu Falaschi (Angra) and Kai Hansen (Helloween, Gamma ray)
Holy shit! That kicked ass! That was freaking awesome! Killer riffs, vocals, and the changes are perfect! I love it!
The entire album is a masterpiece! The story has a beginning, development and epic redemption ending, just like a classic opera!
Man, we have some great musicians in this song: Kiko loureiro (Megadeth), Kai Hansen (Helloween/Gamma Ray) Aquiles Priester (WASP). And the rest of the band are big in Brazil too. Great stuff.

When you listen to one of the best guitar and drummer in the world, but didn't know because they're from a country distant from the main avenue of Heavy Metal (Europe by the way). Loureiro and Priester are top notch musicians. This song is superb.

I don't think ANgra popped up on my radar until the mid 2000's. So Edu Falaschi would have been the first singer of this band I heard. Great band. This was fantastic.
Actually Andre Matos is the first singer, Edu falaschi the second. It is really hard sing something made it for Andre Matos. Try to check carry on all singers
That whole album is just a masterpiece. Angra is in top 10 power metal bands of all time for sure. Love this band.
These were the days, my man! This is my fav album, sir, and it's interesting seeing people listening to it after all this years. "The Shadow Hunter" is the song I like the most from this album.

Man, first thing Brazilians say is listen carry on, 'cause Andre Mattos "this and that", but keep in mind that, out of Brasil they don't consider that higher pitch means better singing. So, that many consider Mattos voice a bit anoying and Edu Falaschi albums much more pleasant to listen.
@@Ana-uy1ck Agreed! Everyone has a vocal style that is more pleasant to them. I myself prefer Edu Falaschi's vocals (note that I not even mentioned Andre in my comment). But I like to suggest carry on for an first listen to Angra because the song is complete. Everyone has their on time to show your skills: guitars, bass, drums, and vocals. However, the majority of the my preferred songs are the ones in Edu era: Nova Era, Heroes of the Sand, Rebirth, Morning Star, etc.
If you want still to be surprised with Angra give a listen to Carolina on the Holy Land album.

The Gacy series on Netflix was messed up, I really liked the Nightstalker & Sons of Sams also. Had some catchy riffs ontop of the solos. Sounds like some good gaming music. thumbs up

This is the Best álbum from Angra, for The fans. I prefer Rebirth 2001 (i was 14 years old =D) and Angels of cry from 1993, cos This songs and power voice from André matos (The First vocal) i love Edu Faslachi (2nd vocal) too.
This álbum Is The second to The 2nd formation The band -2004. The first formation was André matos (in memorian) at vocals and mariutti bass and confessori at drums. In 2000 Edu (vocal), Felipe andreolli (bass) and Aquiles (Drums) get in tô the band.
Angra was born in 1989/1990 in São Paulo. The references were Helloween, Sepultura (From brazil too).
Is The Best band, for me, from South América bands.

I am putting down a polite half pass on this one....I did not hate it; however, it didn't do much for me and from what I recall, I wasn't crazy about the other song you reviewed, either. I still think the vocal sounds like a Bruce Dickinson/Geoff Tate hybrid.....
