Yo guys , I'm making a small comic where in a world of melee weapons like swords knifes hammers and more are more used than guns , the world is divided into countries divided into tribes every trib has a king , the main character is a slave of a trib called "the black hoods" where they attacked his tribe when he was young , destroyed it and kidnapped kids to train them to be warriors , the main character " blade" is the only one in this world full of magic and super skills, who has nothing but his sword , uses only observation to observe every fighting style and attack and combos and everything, he always watched the competitions and observed the famous warriors that would fight there , learning everything and training himself, beating every other kid , with no weapon (hence why being called blade bc he is the blade" and I've got another character who is the prince of the blackhoods tribe , son of the king ofcourse, also fights on the tournaments with a nickname "blue reaper" and a skill called "shadow dash" , those two characters will fight eachother in some chapter not in the early ones bc they are friends and bc "blade is still a slave to this family and since he is loyal it wont happen , but after blade does become free ans not a slave he joins a tournament where two people comment on hims saying that if you give him enough time he will observe everything your speed mass weight attacks plans skills and deafeat you , so in order to deafeat blade you must finish him before he gets time to observe, ofcourse blade observes faster this time and more detailed to beat them , but my question is , if blade and the blue reaper where to fight who do you think would win ,( blue reaper is stronger physicaly and has more armor and is faster) while (blade is stronger mentally and mindly and a very fast observers in one chapter he observed the pose of a fast warrior, the warriors eyes looking direction, the way he's holding his swrod and more in just a split second, plus he has strong durability and fast reaction) Whi do you think would win

HIs motives are more difficult to discern (why he did the eclipse and raped casca being a topic with crazy layers and interpretations to it), along with some great stuff regarding his more complex ideology, alternate personalities, relationship with guilt, etc. Guts has more depth as a character, but Griffith's more complex
It's less that we know less about his motives, but his motives in general are more complex and then you get into his different personalities, relationship with his humanity, etc. and you get a pretty significantly more complex character in Griffith than you do in Guts@@Gattsu_the_struggler
