I loved it, more to know more about Vernestra and her relationship with Imri, in addition to Syl's point of view regarding the bureaucracy of the Republic and how the Jedi are loved by the people who live in the most dangerous parts of the galaxy and how he has his moral dilemma of whether to do the right thing or be guided by his own interests.
I don't know if it counts, but one thing that i caught is that right after Vern meets Yaddle, she runs into Jedi Emerick Caphtor who is leaving Stellan Gios office(?) Caphtor will be one of the main characters of the upcoming comic mini series "Trail of shadows"
Definitely worth mentioning that Stellan speculates that with Vernestra's connection, she could likely navigate a ship through Hyperspace directly by hand, just like the Sky Walkers (and Darth Vader) across the two Thrawn trilogies. Seems like Vernestra is considering using this power to navigate that final Path that was given to her!
At some point they mention a legend of ancient Jedi navigating hyperspace using the force. This is similar to the Chiss skywalkers, and what Anakin does in Thrawn Alliances
6:37 I mean it only makes sense that by now she’s a master, I mean Oppo Rancisis was her apprentice and he himself is already on the council. I’m surprised she’s not. It seems to me like she leaves and joins the council at random intervals.
You forgot to mention that the gas the Nihil uses to subdue their victims is the same gas that the Zygerrians used to subdue their slaves. I initially thought the mysterious path was the unknown regions, but Ilum is located there and was mentioned in Light of the Jedi.
7:09 - my guess is that this Path goes to No-Space, and maybe we'll revisit the Great Hall of the Nihil in the future, possibly even in a High Republic movie. Would sure be a great place for an epic lightsaber fight!
@@brycethebattlephoenix3720Reaht mentions that it is frowned upon for the Jedi to have those amorous thoughts when he questioned his real feelings for Vernestra, so although they were more open they already had those rules, like what was seen with Lula that the masters did not get upset by the revelation that Lula had a romantic attachment to Zeen as long as he did not get carried away by his feelings and managed to be at peace with them.
I just finished this book yesterday and it is one of my favorite High Republic books.
I loved all the tiny and some big connections that were put in this book. It really made it feel like a living world for me.

Great catch!

I immediately thought of this as well and really enjoyed that connection!
5:05 That sure would have been useful for Anakin!
Anakin just got a bad therapist

Thank you, Alex! 👥
I cheered when Yadel appeared.
I heard that Jedi Counselors actually first appeared in Legends during the Old Republic timeline.
The audiobooks for the Race to Crashpoint Tower and Out of the Shadows sadly do not have sound effects or music. Good readers though.
Thanks! 🙏🏼
I seriously think that Yoda is just a weirdo, and his speach pattern is just him messing with people.
He also is the one who made the status quo of total celibacy instead of just don't get attached

I like that anakin and thrawn meet on batuu
Does this mean yoda might have some sort of brain damage? Maybe he was hodor'd.
Awesome
I pictured that gas cloud as the fart cloud from Rick and Morty
When did Krix appear? I think I missed that.
First
I thought they would canonize Yaddle's Tales story and keep her as "The One Below"
Yaddle's padawan is one of oldest jedi masters and also member of the jedi council during high republic so she was around for a long time
Baby Maz???
I think nerbran uses they/them in the book don't they?
In the audio book ‘Tempest Runners’ Laurna Dee was once a slave to the Thalassian slavers.
I'm not interested in the new canon
Ok
Nobody asked
I'd urge you to reconsider, there are some great stories.
Mutual, that feeling may be.
