    Mom said she knew how to do it, I don’t doubt it but I am skeptical ........😉so here I am.....getting it done before she does , the valve can be likened unto the valves used on a propane can, which breaks a seal and makes a seal 🤩🖐🏻thank you kind spirit .

    If I wanted to check my refrigerant level using that same hose and gauge that you show in the video, could I just connect the one end to the service port without having a can of refrigerant attached to the other end? Would that make refrigerant leak out or allow air to get into my system? Thanks a lot!

    • @Flashback502
      @Flashback502  2 месяца назад

      You should be able to get a gage that will allow you just to check your pressure.

    Do I have to have car running and A/C turned on before I start the process?

  • @AikidoTubeSock
    @AikidoTubeSock 2 года назад +2

    Wait, don't you need to purge the air from the hose? If you just add refrigerant as described here wouldn't you force the air that's in the hose into the A/C system? Isn't air in the system a bad thing?

    I used the same hose to check the level of my ac in my car. It gave a 20/138. With out adding nothing. Do you think it needs Ac? My car blows cold air but it is not blowing cold air like before

    • @Flashback502
      @Flashback502  4 года назад

      If it's not cold as before I would add some just watch gauge. Please subscribe & like and share if haven't already and check out our other helpful videos

    Hey do you have any knowledge about the ones without gauge? Everytime I recharge a vehicle the line doesn’t get cold, but if i use a hose with gauge, the ac works perfectly. I don’t understand, much appreciated if you reply

    Do you have to have the hose with the gauge hooked up to a can of refrigerant to check the charge level or can you just hook it up like that to check what your level is first? I have the old hose like that but I want to know if it’s low first before I buy more cans of refrigerant.

    • @Flashback502
      @Flashback502  3 года назад
