wizz air is only ok when you don't need support or to contact them for any reason. I've had my flight cancelled, on this same route, when at the gate ready to board. It costs a fortune to call them and the live chat on their website simply doesn't work, it has been 26 days since I opened a claim for compensation & reimbursement but I still haven't got a reply from them.
Atleast your flight actually ran, Wizz cancelled ours from Herlakion-Cardiff an hour before departure then refused to book us onto another flight, absolutely disgusting airline who shouldn't be allowed to fly, they honestly make Ryanair look like Emirates.
Legally if they cancel the flight they are obliged to rebook you on another flight to your destination, even if its with another airline. Send them the bill for your Jet 2 flight, and threaten them with legal action if they don't pay
The a321 neo that wiz air use are Pratt and Whitney 1100g. They are very quiet I prefer the CFM Leap-1a as a neo but the normal is the best because it has the loudest buzzsaw so don’t worry about it :)

Ended up having to spend £220 on a jet2 flight to Manchester then another £88 on a train to Cardiff where the car was

@@SJF15 Sadly its the latter as they're claiming they did try and book us onto another flight despite noone from wizz air being at the airport.
