This doesn't show off the 2 most noticeable DX11 changes: Advanced Object Motion Blur and DX11 Depth of Field. Object motion blur is a big deal because it's something you notice in the heat of combat, unlike textures.
The game already looked really great without the Directx 11, but really, this update feels really nice. Too bad I have to stay with my 9500 GT and play the game on 800x640 and with things on low. :|
Are you SLI or single GPU ? I don't know there are single 580 with 4gb video memory. And what framerate you got when you are on open space ? Thank for video :)
this patch came to late and it was not necessary at all..and to be honest i did not notice much of a difference between dx9 and dx11 just like all other games which were patched later on with dx11..because they were not built from the ground up to be dx11 games which is the only way to see the dx11 glory..it is really a shame that crytek didnt do it during the game development not 4 months later ..which also reminded me of doa2 !!

@KEEVVY Yes, it is in the games settings.
It would be cool if Dx11 upgraded the physics too. Like added a more reactive environment/destructibility
@misshy01 Updated the description, that 4gb was a typo. While recording I get 30 fps, normally though a locked 60fps. And thanks for watching.

Can the game still be seted on dx 10 after the pach aplyed?
Could I run dx11 smooth with Gigabyte OC Radeon HD6670, Pentium DC E2180 (OC to 2.7GHz) and 3 gigs of RAM?
