Excellent review mustard, perhaps you should branch out to selling Volvos. I have a MK1 V70 T5 myself, values seem to hold very well and it goes like the clappers, but probably drinks more fuel than you do cups of tea!
Test drive in Milnrow. I'm from Dearnley so that area is very familiar. I bought a 2004 V70 D5 SE a couple of years ago and drove it to Spain and back. I drove it to Gran Canaria last year and will be driving it back to the UK in December. Planning on putting a roof tent on it and driving to Greece and back through central/Eastern Europe next year. Long distances are a doddle. The turning circle is poor but its a very solid, comfortable car. The leather seats take some beating.
I have an almost identical car on a 55-plate, but it has smaller wheels, silver dashboard and door trims and headlight washers. It's pretty good. The colour is Barents Blue, by the way.
From the ebay listing it looks to be a decent car at a fair price. YOLO etc and I don't think you would have too much trouble moving it on, if you had to. Better to have £££ tied up in this than an old dented Golf?
Cracking cars the S60 s had 1 yrs back when I was stuck for transport my mate sold me his 2004 S60 saloon cheap it was an ex undercover Yorkshire police car. 2.5T petrol went like a bat out off hell ended up keeping it for ages 😂
Typical of Allegro Man's stock. Clean, puts out a good appearance. A nice looked after Car. Allegro Man seems to know his stuff. He should be a Used Car Salesman 😂😁!! Unlike the lunatic in the Peak District 😮👀🤪....
Good car and a safe option for the family
Your latest volvo videos has got me liking them alot. Also nice to see allegro man in the yard. Another great review.

I believe this is Barents Blue

I wondered how long it would take 😅
As much as I appreciate your love for rovers, the volvo is in a different class in both build and performance!!!
They certainly are great cars
"He knows his onions!" as Ernest would say!
Do you know much about onions?
@@ProjectNigel Jam is more my field of expertise. 😂
Lovely car would suit me that would .
I had one of those for two years. I loved it and was so proud……. for 6 months until electrical gremlins started making it a nightmare 🥺
Lovely car paul 👍👍👍👍
Sweet ride. Is there a difference in VED between the earlier one and this one?
I don't think so
I really want it too
😅

I agree with everything you have said
Now allegro man seems like a reasonable chap.
Could the exchange of a yard with several rovers in various states be brokered for this one car 🤔 🤞

I would enjoy that myself, but I bet the fuel consumption is a bit frightening
Had an ex cop 850 t5 estate 20 years ago now - 140mph felt like 50 mph - insane performance. Should never have sold her.
I have a dilemma between Opel Insignia 2.0d 194hp and a v70 d4. Any suggestions?
Yes, get the Volvo
@@ProjectNigel thanks
Mustard, keep that Volvo for yourself! This is the perfect car for your needs!
I want it... Do I need it? Nope.. (Phil - quite local)
😅
Coming down to the yard in his Volvo 😂
Shit, that's what I meant to put in! 😅
@@ProjectNigel look at his funny face 🤪
I'd of swapped Paul, sorry.
Why are all car reviewers from UK?
I'll swap it for a pre project rover 25 L series 😂
Go on then

My v60 d5 sounds even better
Nothing to compare.
