When I worked at a vet clinic, the clinic had taken in some kitties that had been trapped in some really bad forest fires that had spread. One of them was a feral black kitten. He was super afraid of everyone and you could tell he wasn’t use to human touch so getting it all the time so suddenly was a little distressing for him. I took care of the kennels, so he hung out with me a lot and he became one of the most affectionate kitties I had ever known. His cage was eye level to me (I’m sort of tall) and when I would open it he would put his little paws on either side of my face, headbutt me and would just hold his face against mine and purr as loud as he could. I named him Freddy (yes because his face was mostly burnt, I was watching a lot of horror movies at the time) and all the burn marks on his face grew white fur. He went to a great home with another veterinarian who heard of him and wanted him really bad. He was the best little patient and such a sweet boy and I miss his head butts so much 😊

Yes, black cats are very affectionate, I adopted 2 more kitties in December, their names are Lincoln and Luna, Lincoln is a black cat and is a male, and Luna is a Grey long haired female and they're both so adorable and lovebugs, ❤

Jinx is definitely my choice. The one that’s next to the Tiger striped one reminds me of Furby’s so that would be a second choice. I’m still amazed how they get such a big cat in a small tube.

I love the orange-striped one but I'd want it in the orange-striped cat cup the black one came in. As a tiger lover I would want to keep both.
