Looking back, those 35years were certainly not lost in time. Still listening to this song in 2024. But as a much older person now.
I just turned 58 and don’t find much to be thankful for these days. Thanks for the great memories, you still sound and look incredible.
I am 61. At age 53 I had a heart attack I barely survived but have been just fine ever since. Closing in on a decade. If you've escaped a real health problem or never been sick, you have much to be thankful. If not, you still do. Try to be positive for your own sake and of those around you. Wallowing in self pity will do no good. Believe me, at one time I was an expert.

This was the first popular music I was allowed to own as a kid. My mom was super conservative, so I wasn't even allowed to have my own radio until I was 9, and that's only because my dad gave me his old radio from the garage. No MTV, no records, no tapes, no nothing because it "wasn't appropriate for little girls." I was only allowed to listen to classical music and sanctioned Broadway musicals. But on my 13th birthday, I finally got my first Walkman and this cassette tape. It was magical! I think it was one of the first times I wore headphones because I remember being surprised at how it sounded like you were in the same room with me. 😄 I'll never get tired of this album!
