You guys need to check out the Razormaid mix. Razormaid is a great remix service. Razormaid has been in business since 1986

Unfortunately Razormaid never remixed Love Is a Shield. They did do a remix of Neighbours (r21) and a Member submitted a Revenge remix (MR28) of The Great Commandment. They are both worth checking out (hint hint).

Wow....so glad you did this one...but I actually did like the original version but get that Ty would dig the remix. The original was hauntingly beautiful IMO....and I also admittedly don't care a ton for remixes. But still glad you did it.

Hi Michael, just had to do a remix in this case. Thought the original version would be too ‘flat’ for Tyler. I’m always trying to get a good song to impress him I guess, ha!

Interesting choice. I have to disagree with you Quint, I find the album version much better than this mix. I really admire William Orbit, but, I feel that he was out of his element with this mix. I feel he was at his best when he produced Madonna’s amazing “Ray of Light” album. With that said 😂, I do love this track, but, the original mix is much more enjoyable in my opinion. Really hope you get to the first song I heard from Camouflage called “The Great Commandment”. The composer of this song is Peter Godwin and you should consider reacting to a song he wrote and recorded which is a synth classic called “Images of Heaven”. A couple of other songs in a similar vein you guys might enjoy are “Will You Be There” by Celebrate The Nun and “Situations” by Cetu Javu. 😊

They could even have taken this mix further and deeper like some New Order and Pet Shop Boy remixes that run to 10 minutes+. This one is unusual with its 3 way mix of German synth, club danceability and echoes of Depeche Mode. I think it's that classic early German electronic sound that makes it sound so very very retro, and that was successfully maintained in the remix when so often back then remixes had a strictly house/club anthem sound, But this succeeds either way. Great review!

I feel this mix made the song a bit too "busy" sounding..it loses some of its more subtle beauty..
