First, such a "simple estructure" approach tends to work, but not when built upon such a delicate root as that lead guitar phrase. The estructure seemed vague and boring. When the main body of the song appeared it put me off, because I had perceived the intention was to progress from the initial line silky mood. The main melody, also with that recognizable delay effect as the main flavor, was quite flat. All around the song felt inexpressive, empty, without personality. This type of song sounded like any band in their musical scene. And I'm sorry to say it because I've followed you guys since the beginning, but there's no worst sign for an artist than not bringing on your own sound. I mean, the song is not bad, really, but it's just so average, nothing that shouts out "this sounds like Ashmaze", apart from those 10 secs I'm saying. Ashmaze usually have a particular "stamp" in their instrumentation work that you can easily point out as personal when you listen to their music and that's what got me to love them. Their sound as a group is (normally) original and rich in putting together harmonies in a way that ensures a much more interesting musical experience. These are the reasons why I find this one so disappointing, sorry guys. Still, congrats on your first full album release!!! I'm awaiting other new songs in it with illusion, apart from the classics. And, of course, I'll have a look at anything you come up with in the future, as I always do, keep it up!!
Same here actually. I found that is a "problem" of many japanese groups. It's like they always have nice ideas, and initial arrangements but after then they have no idea how to go on with the composition besides all those extremely classic riffs and melodies we all got sick of at this point. As a drummer I appreciated the slight variation to classic pattern strokes, at least.

So don't want to come to their channel and throw a tantrum xD. But why would they do this?! At least for me, this is not like them, at all! 😔

In order to do so, you need a sound that is easily recognizable. Making good music is not priority. You can tell that just by watching this video, which is focused way more their appearance rather than them playing.

The very first time I played the mv, I paused several times after 9~10 secs in because I thought I wasn't prepared for what was coming, wanted to taste it before letting the unknown get to me. I said "oh my, if they set the song around those arpeggios colors, like a progressive Avant Garde J-metal shit, they'll ruin my brain. I'm not ready. But nope, they played with my feelings.
