Genuine question from first time listener, is Kyo doing *all* the vocals here? Because I looped this on spotify for like 5 straight hours and I swear down the 2nd and 3rd chorus has female vocals but nothing in the video shows that? Like it sounds like there are 2 very distinct clean vocalists, is he actually just that goddamn good or does the drummer do vocals or something I'm losing my miiiiiind at how good this is
@dasjuda3946 Kyo is the vocalist for another great band called Dir En Grey. He is at an insane level but Kagami, Dexcore's singer is also incredible. I think the high pitched layer you thought is a girl is Kagami doing awesome high pitched choruses to himself 😅
@@LINKchris87 oh I cant read lmao, Dir En Grey vocalist is absolutely insane too need to listen to them more, but yeah I've listened to some more Dexcore and nothing suggested anyone but him is doing the vocals, that is some insane range it sounds so distinctly feminine

So weird I've been in the metalcore/djent/melodic music space for ~10 years and just heard about Dexcore about a year ago. Even their old stuff is so ahead of the curve. Underrated. Crystal Lake is great but I feel like Dex has been doing this forever.

This is the true originality that separates dexcore from all the other bands. If i heard this song with my eyes closed, I know this is the sound of dexcore. Also, the guitarist has excellent technique imo
The thing about Dexcore is every song they made will always relate to some things in someone's life. They are truly a master in this kind of heaviness. Huge respect to them.

日本のメタルコアボーカルの中でもかなりシャウトの技術がある方だと思う。特にミドルとローのカッコよさがヤバイ。ハイとロー、更にピッグやガテラルを織り交ぜて飽きの来ない展開も凄く良い。
正直クリーンはナヨっとした歌い方に癖があって最初はちょっと微妙に思ったけど聴いてたら慣れてきた。これはこれで海外のボーカルには無い個性として有りだと思える。
序盤のメタルコアパートのギターリフもめちゃくちゃカッコイイ。
間違いなく才能の塊。今後も日本のメタルコア界隈を引っ張っていってほしい！

Been listening since Hunger back in 2016, I love all of Dexcore's music but this is hands down my favorite release so far.
