I'm not so much into rangefinders, more of a SLR shooter, and to me the Voigtlander Bessaflex TM is the shiznit. However, I think you are probably right about the difficulty of competing against the tons of used, vintage film cameras on eBay. Most people who want a M42 film SLR will think about a restored Spotmatic or Fujica rather than a Bessaflex.
I'd pick a Voightlander lens up as fast as I'd buy a Zeiss. I wish you do something more on the Fuji GS645S image quality and proper focusing.
