Thank you Mike from near San Francisco CA. Your channel provides so much hope and content. I’ve been photographing garden birds in my yard for months and months. I wonder if some are regulars. Unfortunately, we had to take down all of them as we found one dead bird in a feeder. The other birds just stepped over it and continued feeding. The drought and fires on the USA west coast have forced major irruptions in Pine Sisken migrations along the coast. Health dept here is reporting massive disease spread in migratory and local birds. Your videos help me carry on as now without the feeders the bird count is dramatically down.
As a Spaniard I am behind some of these pictures myself, some of them are hard to get by. I am kind of glad that for some of your pictures it took you several days, that speaks very clearly about the effort and passion that you must add to it. Great work on your channel. Keep on pushing.

Fantastic pictures! I hope you all get off of lockdown soon and you are able to get out and resume photographing and videoing these awesome birds again! I've been experimenting with some of your techniques about putting a perch over some food to attract birds and it is working great, I'm still working it out though and tweaking the details. My photographs are not any where the quality of yours but I'm getting a lot better than I was before. Thank you for all of the awesome information you have shared, it has helped me immensely! I know the feeling mike we've just gone into another lockdown in ireland but thankfully I live overlooking a nature reserve that gives me some opportunities to get out and shoot.

Mike you’ve said still photos were the money makers back in the day and now it has seemed to shift almost all toward video....? Why do you think this is ... thanks for sharing
I used to make a living from stills wildlife photography, but the market has collapsed and the price per picture sale now very low. I am shooting video because I am enjoying it, but have sold very little video so far.
