Honestly you can you any kind of kit! this is a trash kit , luckly in the studio you can use so many tricks to get the sound you want.

Have you heard anything about the audient units smoking?? I’m looking into getting 16 channels of Audient but I’m concerned about that.

No I havent actually. Audients units are very stable. We've had a asp at a different studio for about 6-7 years and its solid.

Better than the Focusrite OctoPre?
Been looking at both & always felt like since my studio is already powered by a Focusrite 18i8-3g I should probably go with the OctoPre

@@JayfkProductions876 even if it is better it's only going to be better by a very marginal difference. As many other RUclipsrs have stated, at this point you can pretty much buy any interface and get good results. If you're more familiar with the focusrite stuff you might as well stick with that unless you find something lacking
