Researchers utilize numerous techniques and tools, but PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction), a profoundly used technique, is kind of soul to most of the experiments conducted by Molecular biologists. It is a lab-based technique developed by Kary Mullis in the 1980s for the rapid amplification of DNA employing DNA polymerase's ability to synthesize a new strand of DNA complementary to the offered template strand. He received a Nobel prize for his invention in 1993 in Chemistry.
