Love how he takes a hit to make the play .Every game , he shows us a little more .Arber and Slaf are my favorites. Suzuki, Cole , Guhle , Roy , and so many more of the youth are going to make this team fun to watch .
When we add Mailloux, Reinbacher and Hutson to Safkovsky, Xhekaj, Suzuki, Caufield, Guhle , and Roy, we have almost 1/2 of a team of young stars with huge upside.
@@rca-arc8527and if they play together consistently and build chemistry it could be nice to watch in couple years. I would love from habs to get an experienced player who can teach and pass knowledge to them Would love to see Draisaitl or player of similar status.
Don’t think we should gloss over the part about Slaf having more wind than his teammates as being age related. The kid was bagged after 20 seconds last year and worked his butt off to get to this point.
Part of Slaf20's ceiling will be determined by how good the rest of the Habs franchise is built. Pretty sure Thorton played on fairly solid teams a large percentage of his career. I think he looks good for 19

I would love it if the panel could address the following question - If the Habs keep their 2024 first round pick, should they select the best available player irrespective of position or should they get the best available player amongst forward.
Habs better draft a forward this year, we have at least 12 defensemen right now, (that's counting off the top of my head, there's probably more). We need to start focusing on goals. Tough to win games without 'em.
I don't think the Habs will trade their own pick, unless it is a monster player coming back the other way. The other 1st round they have from Winnipeg, I fully expect them to trade that in a Dach/Newhook type package. As far as who to pick. I would be gunning for Cayden Lindstrom. 19yrs old 6'4" 216lb center that is getting comparisons to Eric Lindros? Yes please, I'll have some of that!
Those 12 d-men are trade chips for the draft when we have two first round picks. The should pick a scorer. We have the 27th fewest goals for this year.
