Rogue Narrow Multi Grip Camber Bar Review - MG-4CN

- In this video, I review the Rogue Fitness MG - 4CN Narrow Multi - Grip Camber Bar.
This is the first bar I’ve purchased in 3 years. I’m glad I didn’t get the first Rogue Multi Grip Bar, but when the narrow design was released, I knew it was only a matter of time before Rogue pulled me out of my barbell bench press retirement. Overall the bar is great, but there is one flaw.

something that expensive shouldnt have any defects at all.
@@thebodybeatdownDiTi it is a little disappointing. I also feel like Rogue left me hanging.
One of the things that I see people complain about with this bar is the stability, but I haven't found a single camber bar that doesn't have that issue 😅
@@BasementBrandon agreed. I’ve noticed the heavier I go, the more stable it feels.
I had an experience recently with Rogue where I bought the Transformer Bar, and it was missing the cotter pins that I needed to secure the sleeves. Like everything else was in the box besides the one little thing that was extremely necessary for safety and utility. They shipped it out to me and all, but it just made me think that the QC there is shortcutting their checks.
@@sobutterysmooth good to hear they took care of you. That really looks like a great bar.
Really good review. Liked and subbed! I wonder whether the gap would cause a structural strength issue on that side of the bar. Maybe someone else here would know?
Dont bang your head again remember the levergym accident😂
lol! I definitely don’t want to take another trip to the ER because of home gym equipment.
a safe and well made should always have it all done right or dang near close. I just that think if you pay an arm and a leg for a bar
@@LukesGarageGym minus the one issue.
@@HomeGymHacksandReviews yeah I fixed my answer. I just feel like when you pay so much, it’s frustrating when there’s some flaws. You want it as perfect as it can get.
As someone who owns every premium camber bar in existence, the best value is the EliteFTS bar despite the lack of knurling.
@@DrDeusExMachina I strongly considered that bar, but the shorter length of the Rogue was one of the deciding factors. Thanks so much.
@@HomeGymHacksandReviews I hear you there. I would say despite its longer length, it's much more balanced and stable than the rogue multi-grip bars (I have both the CN and the straight multi-grip). It also racks in both my Rep and Rogue racks, unlike the Kadillac bar which even racking is an exercise in frustration.
@@DrDeusExMachina good to know. I appreciate the insight.
Nice review mate. You know, I still have never purchased a rouge product! I think they offer good quality but charge a little too much inflated prices due to all the aggressive advertising they shell out for.
It seems by what you show they are reluctant to offer replacements for minor issues despite the top end price people pay. Doesn't seem like great after sales.
I went to a giants live strongman event in Birmingham UK the other weekend with friends. It was actually refreshing to see the arena not sponsored by Rouge for once 😅
However, aside from the gap issues on the nut, it does seem like a nice chunky bar. As it should be for the price.
@@johnpain8380 thank you. I have heard so many great things about Rogue’s customer service (and most of the time, I doubt many issues even come up); unfortunately, I’ve just had a couple instances where I felt like they weren’t willing to offer any resolutions.
Sold the rack too but sometimes I miss it for stuff like this. Great review as always!
@@giannipastore7963 thank you. This bar was one of the biggest reasons I wanted to get another rack.
Is there room to put a washer on both sides? If so that would help a lot for the snug fit and looks.."maybe"
@@thebodybeatdownDiTi maybe. I’m probably just going to leave it like it is since it doesn’t impact performance.
Great review HGHR!
@@marywalton293 thank you!
good looking bar.
@@thebodybeatdownDiTi it really is…minus the gap.
