I got one of those 'here's you sign' stories: I was a bridesmaid for a good friend & the day I picked up my dress I messaged her & told her I had it but that it was way too long...she messaged back & asked if I was gonna have it hemmed...my reply...'no I thought I would wait & see if I grow about 5 inches in the next few months'...lol...here's your sign!

Can kids still fly unaccompanied on planes?
40 some odd yrs ago I was 7 or 8 and mom n dad put me on a plane in Phx and grandma and grandpa were going to pick me up at JFK in NY. No big deal, as I had a 1 hr layover in KC.
All I remember, and I still hope he rots in hell, is looking out the window in the KANSAS CITY airport and commenting that KANSAS is beautiful (I'm from AZ where trees are rare) and some random guy next to me asks if that's where I'm from because we're in MISSOURI.
I freaked out. Lost my mind.
I'm sure he thought it was funny but at 7 or 8 yrs old putting Kansas City anywhere other than Kansas State didn't make sense...

The audience knows what he means, but in case you don't: Bill came up with "the sign" years earlier as part of his stand-up comedy routine. "The sign" is a pretend sign that says "I'm stupid" on it. When someone says something really stupid, instead of saying "you're stupid", you say "here's your sign."
By the way, Larry the Cable Guy (real name Dan Lawrence Whitney) is a stage performance. He's actually quite intelligent and does not speak with that accent.

    I got a here's your sign
I work at Fry's and these happened a few years ago. It was New Year's Day and the parking lot was full and everyone was doing their thing. I was on the curb, waiting for traffic to clear so i can cross. Then there's this car that pulls in front of me and the window was going down and the driver was looking at me. I was expecting a question but she asks me, "Are you guys open?"
If i could get away with it, id be like looking around for evidence to suggest we're open. Parking lot is full, lights are on, customers are walking around and im gathering carts.
My response would've been, "No, we're having our New Year's Day party. Only employees, loyal customers and customers who don't ask questions like that are invited. Here's your sign."

These four guys are hilarious together. They play off each other so well. 2:43 there’s a couple music videos. He did a Christmas version. 4:13 Larry is actually a character he performs as. His real name is Daniel Whitney. He tried doing standup under his real name but didn’t do well so he came up with the “Cable Guy” persona. You should definitely check out his Thunderbirds story. It’s hilarious. It’s about him getting a chance to fly with the Thunderbirds

Comedy can be hard to comment on quickly enough. Something like the movie 'Airplane' is almost impossible to avoid commenting over jokes. But fair observation. Not rude imo. Tasha seems gracious.

    • @BlackieNuff
      @BlackieNuff 12 дней назад

I concur. Do not hesitate to just pause the video when you have commentary (pausing will also reduce the odds of getting hit with RUclips strikes for copywhine). Pause, back it up a few seconds, and after your commentary, resume when ready. Talking over the video while it's playing (especially when you don't know when it's "safe" to talk) is not only frustrating for the viewers, but it's also robbing you of catching any key parts that might provide the context or punchline, thus hurting your reaction.
You and T do great reactions and we just wanna see them get better and better. 😀

    I've got a here's your sign!
So, I used to work at the local supermarket collecting shopping carts for twelve years. Sometimes, we'd have the most AMAZINGLY gifted customers who'd come up and go, "Excuse me, do you work here?"
Now, I don't say it because I'll get in trouble, but my whole brain goes "No, I just wear this uniform shirt because I've got no sense of style or dignity whatsoever."
    Here's your sign.
