I love when children are learning to talk. He’s pronouncing the words very well. He was sad to leave you but you had to make the right decision. I look forward to trying matoke, ugali and skuma soon…
African Village Cook, good effort at cooking ugali the Ugandan way, steaming it in banana leaves. Next time after removing the middle rib from the banana leaf, fold it into two equal parts with the rib side inside. Then place the ugali in the middle and wrap. This affords a bigger space with the banana leaf which makes wrapping easier. Also using banana fibers to tie up the bundle or the strip of rib you removed from the middle of the banana leaf. To prevent water from seeping into the food put a fresh banana leaf crunched up at the bottom of the pot above the water and place the food on top of this. You did well though for a first time.
Very good cooking content....I watched with great interest because that way of cooking is new to me but I loved it....the way you wrapped the plantain in the banana leaves is also new to me......I really enjoyed the African way of cooking...I learn something new and interesting all the time..❤
Thanks for the video however in Uganda we cover the bananas with banana leaves and steam it and then press it instead of mingling with a stick however good try for your first time.
@@Africanvillageactivities well tried. For the banana leaves it is better you harvest them and leave tjem to wilt abit so that they become soft. You should also steam the food for a much longer time (over 2 hrs), for vegeterian souce, you can try ground nut paste (source). Otherwise it was a fair attempt

Please cover your hairs when cooking so sensitive and uncontrollable…veils.
You are not African cook anymore. How dare you talk about IamMarwa after all that he did for you. You are ungrateful. I definitely will unsubscribe.
