    The best review on the model that I have ever seen on RUclips. Great job!
    But lets be honest. Land Rover fans won't ever look at BMWs or Volvos. These are definitely very different cars.

    I have one. I wasn’t sold on the looks when I first got it, but now I love it. Mine is the diesel and that is a great engine. Mine has been trouble free, as were the two RRS I had before this.
    The function of this truck is amazing. It swallows people and stuff brilliantly.
    I like it on the road. It’s not sporty like the RRS, but it’s very planted and can eat the miles.

    Great review for an over-priced gas gussler. I never understood why you have to pay so much more for many safety features that are now standard on many non-luxury and mid-level vehicles. Safety should be standard at this price level. Should you desire a better sound system, 16 way power adjustible seats, high priced wood trims, nappa leather, other amenities - Fine, just don't price safety as an amenity.

    Hey Alex. I swear you said you were 5'10" in a video last week. Anyway, as someone mentioned below, the quality or lack thereof with Landovers is a deal breaker unless they have drastically improved. I had a Freelander and a Disco and they were literally in the shop every other month.
    The Disco had $9k in warranty work during the year that I owned it and the Freelander, well, the rear window stuck in the down position 15 minutes after we left the dealership on a Saturday. We quickly drove back to the dealer and got a loaner since the Service Department had already closed. A month later it started leaking transmission fluid and they told me it was normal based on the size of the drops it was leaving and I am not making this up. It continued to get worse and they finally found it had a cracked transmission housing. There were none in the states so they ordered one from England so my Freelander sat at the dealership for 7 weeks. I could go on and on about both of them, but it would take a couple of hours. Their customer service was wonderful and I got to know most everyone at the dealership on a personal basis, but their vehicles were absolute junk.

      Chris Imer be careful what keyboard warriors and dinosaur owners say. I’ve had JLR products for 9 yrs and never had a major issue. Mainly infotainment worries. Do your own Due diligence and look for recent quality scores from reputable independent bodies. BMW, Audi, Merc are often worse.

    Americans may say Disco is a gas guzzler, but in markets like Europe and Korea, the main seller is 3.0 Litre V6 Turbo Diesel which is way economical than whatever petrol version America get. Plus, considering the extremely low fuel price in America, gas guzzler would not matter to you guys.

    Fully loaded…this is a very nice and luxurious vehicle. All vehicles have their flaws, and should be purchased with some type of warranty; but this review focused on a lot of negatives, in which I have owned the 2017 Gas engine, and the 2018 Diesel engine, and even though I prefer the diesel because of better mpg, I enjoy driving this vehicle, especially on long trips that allows you to be surrounded by its comfortable interior. I also like the exterior and the look of its stance. Everyone that have ridden with me always enjoys the ride and compliments it’s looks. I have a 5 year warranty, so I’m not worried about reliability, I just enjoy all the good times in owning such a luxurious vehicle. I do recommend, if your budget allows you, and you’re looking to purchase one, to get the fully loaded HSE Luxury, and with the diesel for better mpg. But don’t make your decision on what others say, go check it out for yourself and see if it fit your lifestyle. As with any vehicle, keep it serviced, purchase a warranty and enjoy the Land Rover Ride!

    I know beauty is subjective but this car is ugly. I like the looks of Evoque and the Velar. Its a pity that land rover discontinued the 110, that model while boxy had its own fans.

      Idk where you live but in america thats pretty average. Also we have less regulation cheating turbocharged engines over here so the numbers are more real world.

      James Mastroianni I doubt it. They don’t know how much an MPG is.

      @james2042 5 лет назад +2

      @@afcgeo882 considering most SUV reviewers are american, people watching have learned to open another tab and convert the mpg to L/100km, and eventually just got a rough idea of conversions. 40 would be great, 30 good, 20 bad and 10 is unbearable. with just that mindset seeing 18 mpg appropriately would spark a negative reaction
