Always best to professionally authenticate high end designers found at the thrift. They make pretty good fakes even a vintage bag- and it’s actually a disservice to just sell it without first having paperwork from a credited authentication company, because if not it is just your word against whoever buys it.
I agree. There are some pretty good fakes out there, but I would never buy unless I knew for sure like paperwork or know the actual person I am buying from.

Amazing haul Kim! I bought a vintage Bally French Purse/wallet from TRR a few months ago and paid $66 for it. So with your Bally wallet, Louis bag & the Tumi tote alone you did amazingly well! I LOVE that Tumi travel tote! I wish the thrift stores in my area had stuff that nice! 😉😄
LV absolutely does not put the date code exposed and large like that. A real one would have a date code where the handle connects to the bag vachetta, tucked in behind the loop fold.
I bought an LV from of our Marines whose husband Marine gifted it to her paper and all for only $80 dollars.I took it to the LV place in Las Vegas to see if they can authenticate and they did .It’s real and saw some right now of the same design used for almost $3000 and the lowest is $870 🤗

Oh no I’m sorry to say that not an authentic LV noe. The date code should be hidden below one of the shoulder strap d rings(you have to pull on leather to see it). It still looks pretty good tho and would still carry it. I use Pro authenticators on Facebook to authenticate my bags when I have a doubt.
That definitely is an authentic Louis Vuitton! I can tell just by the vachetta leather, I’m not an expert, but I have had my fair share of buying handbags & I can tell when there’s a fake compared to the real! Great buy! I love your excitement !!!
No hate, but just to clarify, this is a fake. They make fake bags with real vachetta leather too. I’ve been buying vintage for a few years now. Some of the things to look for are the hardware. These old bags have brass hardware that are always tarnished. They show no red on the leather edge and have only one date code.
