The Chanel is not real 🙁 The authenticity card should have the gold detailing and never rainbow. The font is wrong too and the serial number sticker is incorrect. It’s still a pretty bag though!
I agree! I thrifted a Chanel Boy Bucket bag, it had a rainbow authenticity card inside the bag. Looks like the real Chanel bag….! I had it authenticated, results came back “fake!”

I found a black Reissue about 7 mos ago while thrifting at my local shop. It wasn’t on display and for some chance I asked the cashier to look at bags that were somehow not on display. When I saw the Chanel, the hardware, the lithogram inside, I knew it was a vintage but authentic right away from the feel and look. I got mine for $20.

Love the Chanel. Awesome find. If you send the handbag to Leather Surgeons they can affix the authenticity sticker to where it should go inside the handbag. Also, authentication is a courtesy when they service your handbag. Congrats again!

I've come across two authentic chanel bags on a reseller marketplace here for thrifty prices. One went for $27 (a vintage camera bag) and another $147 (a vintage mini bag). Till this day, I still can't believe I missed them out, especially the one that went for $27, because I was so afraid of getting duped and scammed like what happened to me before. Uhh two missed opportunities to score authentic chanel at thrifty prices 😭😭 but third time's the charm, I recently got myself a very rare double flap from pre-holo era. It's not the cheapest like the earlier two, but it's definitely a lot lower than current marketplace prices, and for a very rare style, I got it for like $568, which is kinda okay for me cuz I wouldn't wanna spend on a bag that goes for $3k-6k. But really though, it's insane how there are people who donate their chanel bags! But thanks to them, we get to thrift authentic chanel bags! 😂😂

I watch you, because you are just such a delightful lady, and clearly know your bags/purses. They most definitely are a personal choice for everyone. I am so often shocked at what people like! Some of the higher coveted and big name brands, I find garish and honestly ugly, and knowing someone will pay those exorbitant prices, blows my mind!!! I am 60, a very young 60, and sewing is a passion, I have recently started making purses and bags, and honestly, I have made a couple, so much nicer than the “name brands”, the time and expense, I have put in, to have someone say that it’s expensive, if I ask 120.00 is so offensive, to know that someone would rather pay outrageous prices, for a purse, likely made in China, because it has a “name on it” is really hurtful. To each his own, but I don’t understand what it is about, so called name brands?? How in anyway does it make any difference? I am, and always have been a thrifter, not being able to afford, much more, especially when raising my kids. My Mother said to me once, how my kids always look so nice, I either made them their clothes or, spent hours on bag day picking through, to dress them. I love your videos, and subscribed months ago, but really it was because of your spirit, and creative way to make some money, honestly working. What is the draw to name brand??

Everyone is different in what they like and what they choose to purchase. High end or handmade, it all depends on individual taste. None is better than the other.
My mother was an amazing seamstress/crafter. She once told me..."Kim, you can not charge for your time when it comes to handmade items. They will never sell" Meaning it is very time consuming.
One thing I can say for sure... she is 100% correct. That also comes along with not letting people hurt your feelings on offers for your items.

That's really cool but how do you know the Chanel is authentic? I hope it is! I've purchased from the Chanel boutique and never got the little square pamphlets with my new Chanels but regardless if it's authentic or not, it looks pretty good!
