I know this piece is a waltz, but no one is dancing to it. I've admired your sense of rhythm. For a waltz, it's up to the interpreter- the soloist. And this piece was composed by someone with very long fingers. I would have liked more more gradual accelerations, so i could follow the melody and harmonies better.
But obviously you rendition is masterful with virtuosic passages here and there. Very nice to adhere to the tradition of just playing the piece, as with be expected in a live concert.
Really nice! Tempo and expression right on the money. Makes me want to relearn the piece, as well. Unfortunately, I struggle just to get all of the notes right. For me to be able to play the piece at this level? Well, forget about it, but so nice to hear it played so beautifully. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely. But I believe the repeated phrase at 0:39 is a transcription error by John Williams of a skip/scratch/dust in the original recording by Barrios. I might be wrong, but it doesn’t sound right to me 💁🏼♂️😊
Some versions have a D some have a B, this isn’t the Williams version though. Can’t remember whose it was, haven’t looked in a while.

Thank you! There is no magical solution, you have to practice lots of scales with m and a, and make sure you’re actually separating the fingers, meaning using the knuckle joint to move them and alternating. Also arpeggios, with m and a, and other forms that use a.
