Thank you for posting this live performance of this underrated song! This performance is such a great example of Celine’s ability to really emote and convey her emotion and capture the attention of audiences! What’s most striking about this performance is that it’s right at the time Celine was just beginning to learn English, and then she performed this song so amazingly! Way to go Celine! Astonished by that! The performance really foreshadowed what an incredible career Celine was about to begin and achieve in English! At that point she had already began to have huge success in Canada, France, and across Europe!
Celine is one of the best live performers in history. I wouldn’t say this performance is one of Celine’s greatest, but was definitely memorable and exciting to watch! God bless Celine! Please keep the Celine reactions coming!!

A little tidbit of information about Have a Heart. The English version was created for the Juno's because there were recording studio executives that came to listen to Celine that night and Rene was trying to get them hooked for creating Celine's First English Language record. The song Have a Heart came from her prior studio album Incognito as Partout Je te Vois. The other reason for the translation from French to English version was because Celine was already familiar with the song so it would be easier on her and less nerves to sing the English version after going to school, learning to understand and speak english.

She first recorded this song in French. It’s called ‘Partout je vois’ from the album Incognito from 1987. Then she sang it in English at the Juno Award, and Céline sent a VHS of this performance to David Forster. He loved it and went all the way to Canada to see her singing live. And that’s how it all started for her English career.

Gilbert I love your Celine reactions. You need to do one on her singing My Way at a funeral for Renee’s cousin. It is from 1992 sung live and is audio only. It is truly amazing. Brings tears to my eyes and I have never liked that song but when Celine sings it, it becomes amazing. You won’t regret it.

You got a remember she was only about 19 years old here. She has such high ambitions, especially when you add learning how to sing in English. She had such confidence and mastery of the stage as well. Mastery of her vocal technique. The emotive connection to the lyrics, that are not even in her first language. Crazy.

omg I had no idea that there was a live performance of this song!! SO COOL! This is my second favorite song off Unison, so this really excites me! I absolutely loved this performance. She sounded so spot on! I would've loved more of this style from her in the 90s! It's so sweet and pretty. My wig didn't fly off, but my clip-in extensions got totally ripped!

I actually now on the album unison, because of your video. Thank you for sharing it, and yes, I agree that it is really good. I’ll go on a little bit of her French stuff now, thank God for iPhone, and a Bility to just download music and then going to the store and buying the compactor. At least this way, you can review the song before you actually download the music, not have a disk that you will never listen to because you don’t like the singer or anything else I was born in 1987, so yay for that.

Love how you introduced your videos, and your voice is pleasing to meet you. Whenever I do my final critique for SPE 794, I will think of you as a sign language, interpreter, and gather research around people who are hard of hearing and data collection. I hope this is OK. All I need to do is review the article is fine. some of the comments got a little muddled, so I meant to say your voice is pleasing to the ER. That was actually kind of cool to meet you too, but I’m not into that kind of thing right now.

SERIOUSLY, NOT A LOT OF SINGERS, CAN SING WITH THAT PASSION (specialy in an other language that she is not speaking) .....When Celine sang that song in 1987, she was not speaking english at all. She was nominated by the Juno Awards in Toronto for one her french album and was invited to sing one of her french song on that album.. René thought that it would be better for her career that she sing that song in an english version for her to be known in English Canada, because no one knew who was Celine Dion in the other 9 english Canadian provinces. After that performance that night, the whole industry came to see her asking her questions in english that she was not able to answer since she was not understand (René answered to them) .They all wanted to know about her and newspapers all over Canada wrote : SHE IS THE BEST QUEBEC KEPT SECRET. Then she took Berlitz english lessons and later on, David Foster came to see her in Quebec to see and hear her sing that song (Have a heart) in the annual Sony convention.

I don't know if you knew, but the organizers of the Junos wanted her to sing in French and René Angelil insisted that she sing in English for the reasons you know, if not she doesn't sing at all and the rest is history.

@@GilbertGTV also, I remember, because I saw this performance live and the next day, all over English Canada, people were wondering who this singer was. Almost no one among English speakers knew her, but very well known in Quebec for several years. This performance had a huge impact for Celine and also all across Canada, everybody knew who she was after that.

4:43 I agree, and only intimate portrait with John London, which I recently found, Renee said the same thing. “I heard this voice it sounds like… You know like the voice of God, “is about what he said about going. of course, you can find the video if you just look for Celine Dion intimate portrait. I never knew she possibly had known on her vocal cords, so I had to do those breathing exercises the alarm to find in the video. Look for them, and see if you think the same way, but many of the people at the hotel, my phone. I thought they thought, “God, she’s making love and liking it too much. “Whenever she really wasn’t, but doing the vocal exercises are depleting accompanying them.

Sorry that I keep commenting on this one video. However, I’m wondering if Quinn Celine has ever sung Canadas national anthem? I’ve heard many times from 2005 to 2012 as I attended the West Virginia international sports jamboree for people who are blind or physically challenged. North Bend State Park in Cairo, West Virginia setting, and, of course, the “international, “part meant that Canadians were there as well. Participants both a US flag, and a Canadian flag to carry during the opening ceremonies.

6:11 yes, but remember the training from that video I post. I sure wish I could post to hear from now, but I’m not that good at doing things on RUclips as a person who is blind, and using voice over on their iPhone. However, here are some of the backstory on that. The nose or found, she got a different opinion, and no one did not seem to be found, but the vocal cords were inflamed. She had to go through a radical. regiment of not speaking for three weeks. “If you ever want to sing in your life, stop speaking right now, for three weeks. Quotethat was her own words, given by the doctor saying in the video. here’s another bit of a “, and I’ll do the best I can to paraphrase. She couldn’t even whimper, at all, so they had to teach her how to laugh, had a cough, and how to see again. Well, she was doing these treatments, she also started the vocal exercises. “Everything Hass to vibrate, in the right place… “This is yet another comment from Celine herself. you can, of course, see Céline Dion, intimate portrait come on. I’m sorry I do not have the other location! Of course. However, Joan London what is the narrator for this video.

So, saying in English, because Michael Jackson head saying in English. Around the psychology field, this is what we call identity for closure. I would’ve never known, but that’s OK. I can see James Marcias identity aspects in her life, and I think she has no identity achieved. Of course, this is a psychological phenomenon that I don’t think you’ll understand, and I don’t care for you. I’m just giving you information.

I hate to ask this one more time, but do you think Celine is possibly on the autism spectrum disorder just a bit? Otherwise, happy to learn English so quickly? How was your life all that scene, and other forms of work like actually painting or something. Why does she have no animals in her life, but stick around people all the time? These can be signs of autism, I think, and if they are, that’s OK.
