Profoundly beneficial facts detailed in this presentation. Everyone who listens and watches this will recognise how exact the points are. I guess the most difficult part to being "liked" by the boss is to know the expectations of the boss which would lead to the boundaries that the boss has (pending on their level of professionalism and interactive willingness?). Terrific as usual 👌 Kara. Thankyou.
I have to sigh at helping out coworkers who are struggling, they put themselves there. social media scrolling, personal phone calls, arranging showers and wedding vendors on company time, youtube videos, tv episode catch ups, etc. Helping them out looks like i had capacity and more and more was loaded onto my daily routine. And, all the work to go beyond what the boss asked for, is it worthwhile to accomplish this on personal time? Please do a video on how to deal with these...
Thanks dear Kara ... Truely very very grateful for the numerous contents you share with us.. I am new here but I learnt alot from you with in a week , Your way of teaching and generosity have been an inspiration to me.❤❤❤
All the ideas proposed in this video are good and really functional but what about you have a toxic boss?? You would try your best effort each day to achieve the results with good intentions and you’ll never be rewarded by him/her
Congratulations 👏 to me dragging for your boss to like it means you don't know your responsibility in the job or company. And also to ask boss or core workers,of what they expect from is the beginning to loose respect and star submitting your self to them. To me the only way to makes your boss like you is by helping him makes the company more valuable in the market and for the core workers try to study their reactions smartly on whatever things you are doing with them.
I've seen executive directors in non-profit and profit organizations in my own eyes. They only treated staffs they like better. Some discriminated to get ahead. So, l've learned to accept discrimination as normal. I figured, the laws cannot do anything about it. No one on earth can solve this discrimination issue.
My understanding if you working for company and you fallowing company policies bosses have to like you. The rest when bosses not like me I don’t care because I’m specialist my company needs me if bosses not like me company loose. If bosses not like me because that bosses listening wrong information from their favorite guys who jealous. Hard working employees never doing something special so bosses will like them. Hard working employers always giving more than they deserve. The advice you giving it’s not for employees who are working hard and fallow the company policy. The advice you giving for people who are lazy don’t know the job well and not fallow the company policies that’s why I call them kissing ass to keep the position.
Bosses just need buttering. Whatever they say, we need to accept even it is foolish. Then you will get good rating . But I don't blame all of them. I had a boss who was good in technical and managing team too. He was friendly too. Listening the team members issue and fixing them is a sign of good boss. It is not required to make boss like u. It is required that the team members should get inspired from the boss
This is silly. You can't spend your career trying to get your boss to like you. You have 2 interviews to assess your future boss. You can determine which of the 4 personality types they are after those 2 meetings. In the first 3-6 months, you can narrow it down to 1 of the 16 types. Determine your personality types and determine if you can work with this person. Use your interviews to interview your future boss. I dont care if my boss likes me or not. The question is, do you make him / her look good? Are you generating revenue for the team? Are you value for money? Do not work late. There is always more work and youll look like you cant manage time. Get in 1 hour early. Make strategic alliances with the most powerful people in the office. Often, this is the Director's PA. Go for drinks, but dont be a drunk.
Do your job ....if u like u or not it's not his business,,,,,, some boss like chatty & chitty....!!! No space for chatty& chitty peoples around ....do your job , it's all you need to do .... regarding ur job explain..... that's all u need .... Nothing more ...

Excellent video! Your boss is not your friend. Respect is the key to understand if he likes you...

liked your video, great content, thanks
What if the boss is a difficult boss? That is, a boss with ultra-high expectations, too low or even no expectations or even fluctuating expectations?
Congratulations 👏 to me dragging for your boss to like it means you don't know your responsibility in the job or company.

Most of these tips have the opposite effect at my retail job.

👏tks; greetings from Brazil!
Thanks for watching!
this video is treasure ♥. Love from Pakistan.
Thank you!
I thought it was important that your Boss doesn’t like you. He motivates you with the more difficult tasks and labor learns more painfully.
This is too goody goody

This may sound silly but, where did you get this knowledge? I'm new to corporate world and I want to learn the ins and outs.
Exactly the kind of tips I recommend in this video. It's about respect, not like.
Very correct. A jealous boss expects you to lose always.
So that he can demean you.
I don't expect my boss to like me but be fair to me
