My VW Caddy has the same power but without tuning or a chip. I run a decat off the turbo to a short pipe, no mufflers. Cold air through a cone filter (I made a heat sheild and used factory ducting for air) It's good but I'm constantly worried about water so I'm gonna put it higher or make a snorkel. My van looks like a little swamper on bigger tires, roof basket, recovery gear, etc. I enjoy camping off the beaten track, and my van actually performs well on sand and mud. EGR is turned off because it's a high mileage car and it was clogged. I do Italian tune ups almost daily. I'll drive the long way home and hit the highway just to rev it out 3rd and 4th, and sit on 4th and 5th doing 60 mile an hour. You'll see soot but that is good, that's the point. Clean her out.
