      And the way they stand behind those four synths is a clear tribute to Kraftwerk.

    Schneider is a German electronics company that's why it was on the radio, just coincidence lol. My dad used have a big Schneider hi-fi and our first DVD player was also Schneider

      But why are Landers and Kruspe on the radios too?

    • @wildwine6400
      @wildwine6400 3 года назад +2

      Ok, so I rewatched the official video on full screen to see properly, and at about 3 minutes a half a second shot shows to radios with a little piece of paper on top of two radios saying "Landers" and "Kruspe". Which I did miss. But the Schneider one which was mentioned , and shown longer,was actually branded Schneider on the radio, because as mentioned it is a real brand.

    those radios still work like a charm from those times. I grew up with the ones from the 50's after the war. We still have them in our home and they don't have a scratch on them. Still get all the channels in Europe ....

    You should also notice the image of the woman in the video, they build the radios and through it they find a way to be free. Also do not forget the beautiful allegory of "Liberty guiding the people" by Eugène Delacroix 👌🏼🥰

    Kraftwerk are the real pioneers of techno and the sounds are timeless. I really recommend "Das Model" by them and by Rammstein.

    1:54 because its not a German guy. thats why he uses English. The Voiceover in the Video is an original snippet from the first seconds of the first public Radio Transmission in Germany.

      He is not german and his german is terrible. But as they used the original audio from the first radio transmission, it doesn't matter. I only realized he is not german after seeing the make of video.

    If something is already running uncensored on youtube, then you don't need to censor it either. Anyway, I was wondering why you did that so far.

    • @xsezz
      @xsezz  3 года назад +2

      I'm thinking of the future. I can see YT come up with some new rule in a couple of months stating nudity is completely banned from YT or something similar, then they proceed to take the video down. I'm also thinking of trolls flagging the videos for nudity and YT blocking them because of that with no chance of appeal. Just limiting the risk.

    Music of the GDR refers to the music that was created in the German Democratic Republic between 1949 and 1990. Compared to the music of the FRG, the freedom of art was restricted less by private sector guidelines, but by guidelines from the state and SED.

    Sadly they didn't say anything about the last scene of the video, where it showed the EU flag in a communist red instad of it's regular blue color. It's an interesting comparison to make.
    Would have loved to have heard their intention behind this.

      Above all, Flake and Till have shown their nostalgia for their Germany before the fall of the wall, it does not mean that they are socialists or support that government, they simply show the good parts that were on that side, many times it is ignored, I suppose there is a lot of that in this video.

    • @xsezz

      Found a Design Blog which talked about the EU Logo and they said: "...the EU flags on the flagpoles are red. A sudden political commitment to the left beating heart? Or maybe just a bit of variety in the times of Pantone Reflex Blue and Pantone Yellow." Typical Rammstein Art. You have much space for interpretation.
