      Steal (permanently borrow) your husbands/boyfriends/dads/neighbors?

I would like to try this but my machine doesn’t have the side mounted bobbin winder. Any idea on where to get a shaft that would work with m class bobbins?

Zoe, you can buy the entire bobbin winder on eBay! 👍🏼

I always thought bobbins were supposed to be wound with a certain tension to them.

Elona, while true, this method works great! You just keep tension in the thread with your fingers! 😎

What size drill bit did you use?

Hi Elizabeth, The piece in the drill is actually a shaft that was removed from a standard side-mounted bobbin winder.
