I like it very much to see my hometown . Living in NZ I sometimes miss the city walks and the houses and streets of Eindhoven, I have lived in Strijp and later in Gestel and Woensel. Hope to visit Ehv soon again. Houdoe,
Very well made video, such high quality. Personally as a newcomer to this channel, I'd suggest giving the whole video more room to breathe. Everything is very tightly packed and jumpy where the city really deserves all the b-rolls it can get. It would be an even better video if you gave it 5 more minutes. Other than that keep up the good work! Loved it and will definitely check out the down town gourmet market 😋
Thank you for your feedback. It is something I prefer, but if you make video’s like that on YT people don’t like it. It’s bad for your ranking. So please send your feedback also to YT and enjoy the Down Town gourmet, it’s lovely!
I cant comment on modern day Eindhoven but I used to get sent there in the 60s for summer holidays (from Scotland) as my grandparents, Aunts,Uncles,Cousins lived there and i have many great memories, I am only speculating that if I were to go back there now the changes would be disappointing, but then I am old school with a different outlook on life these days. Good video though.
I was born in Eindhoven in 1969 and many large changes have been made since then like a lot af high rises have been build and the Philips stadium has grown way bigger (and again they're think of adding another 20.000 seats), a shopping mall was build where the hospital was. But on the other hand that's mostly in the city center and at Strijp-S, the rest of Eindhoven looks mostly the same as it did all these years ago, the parks, the canals, the houses in the neighborhoods (although mostly renovated of course), Evoluon, the churches (a few have been lost), and most important, the feel of the town is still pretty much the same...
Those 5 guys drinking beer 🍺 are all lookers huh! Next best tour destination is no other than but this beautiful land, neither other lands but Netherlands. More of these Martin please, but not so fast, but slow shoots. ❤❤❤

@@tigergooner7214 Hi. There are some options. You can catch a flight with Ryanair from London directly to Einhoven and there is a trainservice to Amsterdam. You can easily buy your ticket with the NS on the trainstation. Another way is to fly to Amsterdam. Then you have more options in your departing airport in the UK. From Amsterdam there are many trains to Eindhoven daily. There is also a trainservice from Amsterdam airport to Eindhoven. The journey takes around 90min.
To all Tourists... Hotel Cocagine 4:10 is one of the most expensive hotels. You can also rent a cheaper hotel for 50 euros. Cocagne costs about 200 euros. Go figure....

Hi. I’m working on it. It is/was difficult in this Covid period, I hope you understand. For now a new Gay Amsterdam video is on the schedule for later this year.
The hotel piece ( clear ad placement) is the weakest part but overall rate is 4/5, I liked it and I'v actually learnt a bit about #Eindhoven which is enough for a short stay. No cofeeshops mentioned? ;-)
Don't miss Berenkuil when you get here ;) Coffeeshops: High Times, Pink, Eurogarden, The Wall, New Wave are the best on my opinion, there's quite some others but I can't say anything about their quality...
Klopt het dat ik een busje van Jezus Leeft in de video voorbij zag komen? Ik heb helemaal niks met Eindhoven. Bijv. de markt met eten vind ik minder mooi dan die van Rotterdam.
@Martijn Around The World Obviously you're not a born Eindhovener.😂 If wasn't clear already because of your accent, it's the fact that a true Eindhovener would know that it actually wasn't Philips who brought light to our city. Nor did Philips earn us the nickname City of Light. We are called the City of Light because of the matchstick industry which flourised here since the early 19th Century. There were several matchstick factories around the city. At one point in time some 95% of all Dutch matchsticks were produced in Eindhoven! That was before Philips even considered coming to Eindhoven, which they eventually did in 1891. Nice video though. 😀
I love Eindhoven. It is one of my favourite cities in the Netherlands. I am luckily to have lived and worked in the city a few years ago.
German here. Eindhoven is my favourite City.

Love it!!! Great video and thanks for visiting us!

Mooie video

Ik wil meer van Eindhoven zien. De Pink Coffeeshop lijkt goed. De stad is meer dan een luchthaven. Ik kom uit Engeland.

I am traveling to Eindhoven from Ireland in November for 1 week. Would i be able to smoke the green in the cafes if im not a dutch citizen?
That’s a good question. In Amsterdam there are new rules, but I think Eindhoven will be fine. Enjoy your trip!
