Absolutely! With our busy modern lifestyles, most of us don't have the time to handwash our cars at home. A prerequisite for any car we have is how it copes with a carwash. Often there are little tips that can help with this task, as sometimes there can be problems with the automatic front wipers, or the rear wiper blade. I'm sure the "hermetically sealed" [quote] interior will be fine 😉. All those potential Twizzy owners need to see a carwash video - you owe it to them as an influential EV journalist
Just a question of speed here. The wind deflectors around the mirrors do quite a good job of keeping water droplets out as long as the little jumper is moving. But the best feature is its pressure washer proof interior, you can just blast everything clean.
I had the pleasure of meeting you and your lovely wife a couple of years ago at a services charger, you had the Leaf & I had a BMW i3. Your Mrs and little one were fantastic on screen, you might have made yourself redundant!

I have the same problem when I put solar panels on my roof, we decided to start less polluting. So we bought a Hyundai Kona 64 for my wife and the long journey and a Twizy for me and for the short grocery. In fact we realised that it was a great economical solution because our fuel budget was definitely lighter than ever and we saved a lot of money.
Loved this video. Brilliant. As a fellow Twizy owner I’d say Twizy. Have the i3s for longer journeys. Noticed the Windows...did those straps and hooks come in the kit as mine only had Velcro ones - come away from plastic in summer heat.
My everyday car since 2012. I sold my combustion engine and bought two Twizys, one for my wife and one for me. Both Twizys now have around 90000 km on the clock!
Based on earlier videos, I'm fairly certain the cat voted for the Twizy to stay. After all, why would you sell his bed? Just what kind of family would do such a thing?! :O :P
Great video! I’ve had a Twizy for 5 years and for one of them it was my only car, so the weekly shopping run bit made me chuckle, I know it very well! (and the plastic-seat-farts!). My fiancée doesn’t drive so the Twizy is simply no fun for her, especially in winter. She loves the Model 3 and also bathrooms! Perhaps you can come to a compromise with your wife and have a Twizy-themed bathroom?
Clearly you should keep both Mini and Twizy but tow the Mini with the Twizy, thus enabling excellent storage for shopping *and* keeping your green credentials.
A heads up, Andy: Following your recent video about EV prices, we managed to beat your Autotrader price for a particular car by a few hundred pounds, and are collecting it next week. Thanks for the very useful information over the past few years.

Simple answer. Two Twizys welded together. Double the range, use one for the drive out the other on the way back! Double the accomodation, endless storage space. Just decide whether to join them side by side or tandem.
Get a Smart ED ..... 60 mile range and two proper seats, proper heater, proper windows, enough room in the back for a moderate sized shopping trip. You can get a 2013 one for around £8K
A really entertaining and informative review. However, might have benefitted from some suggestions about how a micro EV might be practical, as there will almost certainly be a place for such a vehicle alongside the current trend for large SUV type EVs. I would suggest a BIG boot and a better range. Plus real windows !!!!!!
I have wanted a twizzy since it came out, just lower it a lot and fit a a Tesla S sport engine and it would be perfect, ok I want an EV single seat race car as a daily :)
Such a fun video! As a second car, I’d go for one of the original triplets over the Twizy any day, though. A C-Zero is actually quite spacious, and certainly more comfortable ;-)
