Would be interested in any other nice gems in the tweed also as do try and get a few trips up a year! Also have you done any type of epic / big ride day out riding like torridon, Skye, Cairngorms etc?
They are both great places to ride! I'll get a ride in at the golfie soon, there are so many good tracks up there! Glenbenna is also amazing if you are in the tweed area. Not ridden any of those epics recently but will put them on the list 🙌
I wouldn't say there is a specific thickness that is best for these trails for everyone. It depends on lots of things, generally if you are looking for a light fast rolling tyre go for a thinner one and if you want something super grippy and stable but slightly slower rolling go for a thicker tyre. The thicker tyre will have better resistance to punctures.
