Great reaction, Philip! The studio recording of Amira's Amen was in collaboration with the Ndlovu Youth Choir. This choir reached the grand final of America's Got Talent (AGT) 2019. In this video, on the occasion of Afrikaans is Groot 2023, Amira collaborated with the Mzansi Youth Choir. This choir, in turn, reached the grand final of AGT 2023 last year. Amira has collaborated with Mzansi many times over the years, including on the African Christmas concert stream that Amira performed in 2020 at the age of 16. As these youth choirs rotate, some members have already been replaced due to age. Amira will be performing at the Afrikaans het Gees concert in Moreleta Park this August.

Very vibrant live performance.. and again the mix of African beat and voice and Amira just works so well... I love both versions this live one with the Mzanzi choir and the recorded version with the Ndlovu choir.. Two fabulous choirs. I'm sure we'll hear more collaborations between Amira and both of them. ( Zulu) She has performed with the Msanzi several times, at Starlight Classics, and on her 2016 streamed concert An African Christmas. See Little Drummer boy, and the Lords Prayer, if it's still posted, it might have been taken down. I like the way they advance towards the edge of the stage. That must have been iimpressive from the front row. On Friday 19th April the concert is going to be available on various platforms. This is released as a taster. I believe Amira sang a couple of other song in the show, which took plCe last summer. Looking forward to hearing some more.

Sadly, all the songs from the Christmas album were taken down. And yes, she also sang Phantom of the Opera with Ruhan du Toit. Can't wait to see it!
