Homemade Shisha Flavor

- This is a small experiment we did just for fun. We hope you enjoy it. 😁
Make shisha tobacco at home is easy. You just need:
(1) Tobacco used for pipe smoking
(2) Glycerin. Glycerin is a sweetener used in the food industry
(3) Favoring. Flavoring is commonly used in cooking and food industry
(4) Molasses. Cane molasses is a common ingredient in baking and cooking
All ingredients can be found at your local supermarket

Instructions:
We boil the tobacco to remove the smell of the tobacco. We can wash the tobacco as many times as necessary. We then try the tobacco a little bit and we add glycerin. We leave the blend to soak the glycerin and then we add flavors and honey. If honey is very expensive in your area you can use other types of viscous syrups such as molasses etc.

Our homemade shisha flavor CANNOT be compared to shisha tobacco produced by professional and reputable factories (Haze Tobacco, Alchemist, Darkside, Aqua Mentha, Adalya, Al fakher, etc). Shisha tobacco producers use Virginia tobacco leaves dried and cut to specifications. Tobacco is then properly blended with molasses, glycerin, flavoring, and herbs and it is curred before packing.

For 300 grams of tobacco leaves, you need 100 grams of honey or molasses. You will also need 30 grams of glycerin. And flavor of your choice. The weight of flavor and glycerin may have to be adjusted.

If I boil flue cured virginia leaves 3 times for 5 minutes it dies and turns completely unusable. So this technique is not working for me. Advice?

glycerin produces clouds, honey/mollasses produces proper consistancy

glycerin
the molasses (or honey) acts like a binder to bind them all together and retain its flavor.
glycerin of vegetable glycerin will increase the smoke/vapor , honey can be used to replace the molasses also if your using molasses make sure its unsulfured molasses
How many grams of tabacco did you use and how much of each glycerin, molasses, and flavor?

probably - id advice taking a look at the DIY vape market, they also use propylene glycol based aromas. Propylene glycol holds more flavour than vegetable glycerin, vegetable glycerin produces more vapor (and thus more smoke in your shisha)
It there a replacement for the glycerine?
vegetable glycerin or glycerin pretty much only options i am 100% sure of, you might be able to use propylene glycol as well but im am unsure about it, propylene glycol is the same stuff used in vape juice to give it more of a throat hit and burns at a lower temp

Tobacco can be replaced with Sugar Cane Fibres commonly known as baggasse

What’s the point of the process that boiling the leaf and let it dry? Does this process remove nicotine? 🙏
im assuming it takes away the hard pipe tobacco flavor from it. So it doesnt overwhelm the extract flavor

Why did you boil tobacco first ? what reason ?
Washing the tobacco removes some of the nicotine and the flavour the tobacco has, so that your own flavouring can shine through better

Nice video showing the simplicity of it. However, i wouldnt use cheap pipe tobacco and buy natural whole leaf tobacco and grind it myself. Also I probably wouldnt boil for 5 minutes as you're taking out all the nicotine from it and probably that earthy taste. I would just soak heavily in hot water (with gloves on) and cook a little at a time until i get the right ratio down.

Dude wtf u doing , a bag of pipe tobacco cost 10€ in EU , the strawberry artificial aroma and glycerine 5€ min, that shit at the end cost Minimum 5€ you spend in total 20€ , with 20€ i can buy 4package of SHISHA tobacco.
