I can easily imagine The Boys becoming something like The Walking Dead, getting countless seasons and spin-offs, and becoming boring or average because they killed off Billy, And he's a character like Rick Grimes, the series dies without him.
I think Kripke confirmed that it’s only gonna have 5 seasons. I think for the boys more than 5 seasons would not be fitting tbh. However there is gonna be another spin off that plays in Mexico so you might be right about the spin offs. I do really like all seasons of the walking dead though and I did also enjoy the spin offs I’ve watched of twd so far.
As the other dude said, it is confirmed the series end in season 5. Besides, the only spin-off we got so far (Gen V) really works by itself well, so I don't think it will end like TWD. I hope, at least.
