The champ turned Izzy into a wrestler!! Never thought I would see that. Wow.
Kept walking Izzy down and stepping into Izzys personal space and took shots but gave shots too. Respect!! Alex wanted all the smoke! Just like Alex said before the fight, Izzy is going to try not to lose but I am going in there to win...and he did just that with his aggressive game plan.
That fight was nonstop suspense and action. Alex took the fight to Izzy like no one else has...and on his feet!
We need more kick boxers in mma, their striking is elite and so much better than mma fighters. So when you put 2 kick boxers in there with no wrestling or not much wrestling, it becomes a technical knockout chess match.
Watching those 2 elite strikers in such close range was so suspenseful!!! I was on the edge of my seat the whole fight. Alex is so big and tall and just kept walking towards Izzy and cornering him with those dead eyes 👀and it made me feel 😳 but I was loving every moment!!! Never seen a mma fight quite like that before.
The new champ is here! Can't wait for the rematch. Alex will fix his bad weight cut, bad wrestling defense and it will probably be a faster KO for the Champ! 🏆

I was right alex wasn’t throwing much and it seems like he zoned out at times especially when Izzy was hitting that 1-2 and that last round after he got fired up it’s like he finally woke up and ready to fight

Izzy fought hard and it's been a long time since he has put his skills on fully display so credit to him. It was a competitive match, that could easily go Izzy's way, the next time they meet. But in all honesty, its just going to get more difficult for him from now on. Being defeated by the same guy, three times in a row is a huge blow in confidence. Given how hard Alex hit, I don't think Izzy will have the same chin anymore; he should be glad the ref stopped it when he did. But most importantly, I think Alex is just going to get better from here. He just needs to work on his takedown defence and grappling and he will clean out the whole division, just like Izzy.
