I believe that Carlos also has great talent, but obviously given his age he remains a monster. Jannik is simply managing to have an incredible physical and mental shape, this is giving him great continuity of results.

@@YourPhysioGuide You don't have to consider just the age of a tennis player, but also the years they spent training on tennis. Alcaraz play tennis since he was 6 yo, Sinner since he was 12/13. That's why the Sinner's talent is now exploding and his improvements are unbelieveble

Talent isn‘t everything. Look at dustin brown, bernard tomic and especially Nick Kyrgios. All of them belong to the most talented Players on the tour. Regardless, due to other influencing aspects, they have never been number one nor won a grand slam (although kyrgios has a doubles slam and a singles gs final)

To this day, the strongest athlete, not only physically, but especially mentally is Djokovic, to my opinion. I can’t even remember how many times he has been in the brink of defeat and still turned it around and won. As a Federer fan I remember those painful times pretty well. Sinner is a great tennis player but Djokovic’s mental toughness is above everyone.

Please don't compare Sinner to Djokovic.
Sinner comes from a different place, physically mentally and emotionally. He has often stressed it is more important to be a good human being first...which he is. Sinner is and will continue to be, the consumate sportsman.

there is no question about Djokovic's mental strenght. He seems like a robot. But what I wanted to highlight in the video is that Sinner one year ago (miami open final 2023) didn't have the mental strenght that he has right now. Recently He told that the evening before the final of miami 2023 against Medvedev he din't sleep because he was sweating during all night cause of the tension. This year he was more relaxed. For sure he improved also accuracy and costance

Lol.. Ur not a federer fan! Fed fans know that when fed is in the mood, there's usually nothing novak can do... Peak djokovic lost to fed in 2011 on the slowest surface available and got bagelled in the fast Cincinnati in 2012, both times by a federer past his peak. Peak Federer would have double bagelled him and won straight sets in French.
