This really isn’t an issue, not everyone was around when that came out, not everyone likes that ‘zero’ design and many comic book fans appreciate this addition specially for it not being the awful MCU version, plus, Sidey is a very popular character (arguably the most popular comic book character of all time) and this is a Marvel themed season, so it’s a no brainer to include one of his many variants. Spider-Man fans love games where they can play as multiple variants of Spidey so this will probably sell well and I’m sure they’ll include orher characters you’ll be interested in buying, let Spidey fans have this one
