When you choose your partner be extremely careful, find out the whereabouts, have the right kind of conversations and know her as much as possible. Above all ensure mutual respect and compatibility.
Not exactly matrimony but i went through something similar. This guy was clearly hitting on me in college and i did not know how to say no as I had been brought up to be that nice girl to be liked by everyone. I wanted to be just cordial with him and wasn't interested in relationship or contact of any kind. He repeatedly expressed his interest in me and told me to go out with him even after my telling him no. He even tried to guilt trip me by sending me sad msgs and putting up sad status. Finally i had to block his number but that episode affected my mental health and made me feel really guilty as i liked someone else (a celebrity) and not this guy.
That last line that no one else tells you -‘Women can be alone and nothing will happen to us’
