I would probably have a heart attack on the run up, hit a pebble just before the pop and tomahawk down the stairs to full body splat on the bottom, causing multiple fractures, major brain trauma and profuse internal bleeding. The coroner would have a field day figuring out the cause of death.
@@rtcbr3328 i disagree, its not just light feet, the dude is an ATHLETE with high coordination, he coulda been an all stater in multiple sports in high school if he wanted. I have no idea why people feel the need to say that this isn’t a war because he didn’t bail and smack his dome or twist an ankle. Any trick down this set is a war, don’t question it.
Yup, even in Jamie foy's My War he ended up landing the front crook first try. The "war" part for him was just the mental block from doing it down el toro
yeah, whatsup with these comments about ''i simple i see and click'' and then theres that thing with ''unmeasureable ball size something something'', fuck off
Jamie`s... I reckon you don`t mean Jamie Thomas`! So true. First try? I love the premise of the "series", but they should pick the featured tricks better. I want more stories like Jamie`s. The impossible 50 50 on Clipper that is!
This kid is a fucking legend! I met him in Copenhagen last year. The guy was so humble when my buddies and I told him how good we thought he was. He literally look into our eyes and gave us the most hear felt thank you. Zion keep rippin.
Based on the coms, people don’t want to see skateboarding, they want to see people get hurt. There are PLENTY of videos showing people getting hurt. Go watch those.
I’ve seen this rail in person, anyone who thinks this isn’t my war worthy is delusional. half cab back smith is sick in general much less down that rail. I highly doubt any of the commenters here have even half the nerve to go for that.
Placing your back truck blind on one of the steepest rails ever, knowing you will be catapulted to the ground 0.7 sec later. That is definitely not a war, that is psycho!
@homelessorgucci, that’s why your profile picture is of your ugly ass egg head, you probably chew on rock and eat dirt everyday for breakfast lunch and dinner
homelessorgucci how is it hard to believe? Skaters are one of the only breeds of talent that don’t really get big headed and aren’t full of themselves. They will always look out for their supporters.
I like how you guys put this together with the old clips. I would have liked to see more of the tricks that went down. On another note, I can't imagen the balls it takes to go for this trick. Just seems so terrifying! Mad props to Zion!!
Haven't touched a skateboard since I was 19, but watching these has got me pumped. I'll watch a few more then top it off woth LODT then get myself a setup. Love this shit.
Zion is the definition of "stomping" tricks. He's got the most athletic and just slain TRONG styles. Love watching him skate spots and just anihilate them.
"Didn't get smoked" - dude, mad respect for those bails. You weaseled out of them like its nothing. I would have broken my ankles/legs/head if I tried that. Gnarly dawg, thanks a lot!
I was a 90s skater then joined the military for the war and now my body is destroyed. You can’t get help either. I’m just as wrecked from skating as I am the war. It’s crazy this was my fate. Live hard love big don’t be scared to fail. Be more worried about not trying.
My favorite kind of My War: crazy progression, some near-misses, but nobody breaks anything or slams their head. But for real, a few of those misses make me wonder if Zion actually has Spidey-senses. Such fraction (inch, second, whatever) reactions.
Damn, How you gonna show all those clips at HH and not show Dollin's Kickflip Crook? Legit one of the cleanest Kick to Crook I've ever seen. When he just stomps the nose into that crook lock, my god, so iconic!!!
This one’s in the books. I don’t see anyone even contemplating this trick. It’s super unnatural, high-stakes madness. No one possesses the circuitry to just do this trick for the hell of it.
wow man. absolutely insane. I've walked up to that set and it's actually fuckin HUGE. Like videos don't do it justice. It's the type where you walk up to it and just appreciate skating that much more.
When I skated way back in 98, I tried to board slide a 10 stair and ate shit so hard my friends contemplated calling 911. A few months later a local guy in Austin did a blunt slide on that same rail. What is amazing to me is not only these guys are doing crazy tricks on giant rails but they're doing it at warp speed.
its hard to even put into word how insane of a fucking trick this is down this insane rail. If I tried that there wouldn't be a war. Just a funeral. 😂😭
good one!!

Those were some really athletic bails. Most people would have been decommissioned after that.

Yeah, I think "My War" refers to the internal one!
They said he rolled up to it for an hour before he even tried it one time. That's a war man.
The "My War" videos are always the best.

He executed that like a professional, if I were pro I would want to be as strategic as possible to avoid injury.
fully agree, he worked up to it logically, wound up nailing it without major injury. That's pro fo sho!
