NBA players cry after getting slapped on the wrist so they would never survive the physical nature of the game of football.

Only thing I’ll argue is the hoopers transition way better to football players then vice versa. Like u could take an nba guy and get him nfl level within a few years. You would need a decade+ to convert an nfl player to an nba level caliber player
Kenton is out of his mind if he thinks he can line up at receiver and win within the next year. Not as a full time receiver, it's not happening. As a specialty player yes. If it was just height, it would've been done numerous times. That's the disrespect that gets NFL players heated.

They really don't understand being overly tall at wide receivers makes you a bigger target. You are going to be lit up. Your career will be extremely short.
That’s always been my argument about Lebron playing in the NFL. He of course has the athleticism to do it but he would be such a big target. Lebron is 6’9 and someone like Gronk was 6’7 and had a shorter career because of the punishment he took being such a big target.

Gill's 1 year analogy is flawed because it's only 5 positions in basketball and it's 24 different positions in football. Chances are within that one year, you can place a basketball player somewhere on the field at a position that might not take much skill at all. It would be tougher for football players because it's only 5 positions AND you have to play both sides of the ball.

Antonio gates literally went into the NFL and was arguably the best TE to play after being a college basketball player
He was also 6’4” 255lbs. Not really a guard in frame size.
Nigga that’s 1 outta 30,000 😂😂😂
@@johnniebucketz He also played football throughout high school and went to Michigan State to play for Nick Saban. He chose basketball because Saban wouldn't let him play both.
He never played in college though plenty ppl played multiple sports a high level in highschool. It’s kind of a dumb argument to me. lol
Jimmy Graham also
There is no doubt that many NBA players could have been NFL players, but it would have required a dedication during adolescence to fball instead of bball. Truth is if you have the athletic ability to play either NBA or NFL, most will choose the NBA. More money in the NBA with less health risks.
There aren't many NBA players who could just walk onto a NFL field with little to no training. Young Lebron probably could have done it.
Charlie Ward, Nate Robinson is a prime example of how a football player can transition to the NBA. There are no pro level basketball players have transitioned to the NFL.
Julius peppers, tony gonzalez, Antonio gates.
I agree with gilberts idea they would translate better but still doesn't mean any are making it to NFL just like none are making nba

The argument is pointless when it comes to organized basketball players vs organized football players. Neither one can play at each others highest level. BUT.... an NFL player can by FAR be more effective in a pickup basketball game than an NBA player can in a backyard football game
Lol what argument is this? Pickup basketball takes skill in shooting and dribbling. How is running and catching a ball harder than shooting?
@jaytrill8781 yes, shooting does take more skill than catching the ball, I will agree with Kenyon on that. But, I think an NFL player can score a basket on a "regular" dude easier than an NBA player can score a touchdown on a "regular" dude
You obviously haven’t played a football player in a pickup game.
@jaytrill8781 it's the getting open part..🤯. I do think tho that at certain positions BASKETBALL players could possibly be average to below average pass rusher or TE 😵💫
Let me ask this.... as an average athlete in general, would it be easier to stop Russel Westbrook from scoring a touchdown or easier to stop Miles Garrett from scoring a layup? Or how about would it be easier for you to score a touchdown on Westbrook or easier for you to do a layup on Garrett?
Hooping is like solving a Rubik’s cube. Football is like getting hit by your brother repeatedly while solving a Rubik’s cube. Both require skill but one with way more toughness required.

The intensity and tenaciousness, you gotta have a warrior spirit to play football, y’all keep using Lebron as an example body wise yes. Mental no, that’s that spirit I’m talking about like a boxer. Ppl like lebron and KD would benefit from football. You get physically beat up, that’s why football players called basketball players soft. From the stand point player can feel fouled and say foul even in streetball unless it’s called no fouls and some things don’t even have to be called it’s understood on the court. But it’s all legal in football.
Nate Robinson is the perfect example of someone who can play at the highest level in both

College and NFL coaches recruit top level ball players for a reason. There has been only one player to transition from the nfl to the nba and actually be effective
@@DVNVZ facts
And there has been no NBA player that has EVER went to the NFL. This is a terrible argument. Who recruited bball players for football lol? Genuine question and not even trying to be sarcastic, and if you can name them, I guarantee they played both sports. Players that went from basketball to football ALWAYS played both in college, then just chose football if they didnt get drafted or playing time. Even Gates who didnt play because Saban wanted him to play only football still played football his whole life prior. Graham played both in college. Tony Gonz played both in college. Mo Alie-Cox played in high school and took years to develop into being decent in the NFL. Dude was sent to the practice squad for 3 years before he actual got time that wasnt just special teams. Also NBA players are WAY to soft for the NFL. Notice how every bball player that goes to football plays offense? Who in the NBA is going to tackle for 30min maybe even 40min a game if your offense is trash? I can think of like 3 players maybe that can play defense in the NFL.
@@danglez18Ricardo Gathers. 0 football experience. Only D1 basketball experience....drafted to the cowboys in 2016. You can teach the right physical profile to play. Also he was drafter 6th round 200 something pick and struggled to make the team off the practice squad and only had 3 catches his whole football career. Please just stop.
