My favorite Strathsbey to listen to. lol. And that Reel is off the hook. Interesting how the march and reel have a "mistake" feel to them - idk - the timing of note placement is just very interesting. Maybe just me.
your right ,some tunes can be played at a different speed and be a completely different tune ,some are better fast ,some slower ,as a musician it's your job to bring out the beauty in the music
Yeah agreed, especially in the weird thing at the last line of each part in the march, it's a good march just sounds a bit off. I like the reel, I definitely get what your saying about, but it just sounds so unique and it's just brilliant.
sorry for the late reply, I just stumbled upon this video haha. I was plalying my 2011 McCallum ab3 pipe with a Gandy Chanter. Nothing special, and happy to say that the full "Gandy" bagpipe will be out very soon.
My favorite piper. He always has such a swing in his playing. A true master of this instrument.
That is briliant, I mean that is just so amazing ! Thank you !
Nicely played.
Bruce is ALWAYS a great inspiration to me!!
Superb

you think you know a tune ,until you hear it played properly ,then you realise you have a long way to go ,that's fine ,you made it this far
