    Good morning Nate @gardenlikeaviking , excellent tutorial & video brother…thank you!!! I just need to incorporate some underwire melon holders from the strip club to utilize the under-culture instead of the pillow case! For some reason the body glitter seems to increase the filtration compared to brand new but ya don’t want it reeking like essence of hoe since the pheromones could offset the intrinsic balance in the liquid microbiome! Now keep in mind that it seems to works best if you connect the underwire to 9 volt batteries, then your under culture is electro culture too & is such a bonus!! Ya see, I think that the underwire melon holders retain a charge from the stripper pole friction & that inversely conducts negative ions which are definitely good for us & the plants! Ya gotta love nurturing nature in all its forms for such science & multi levels of success, right!?!

    To avoid kinks the pvc should be filled with sand and capped on both ends before bending

    • @gardenlikeaviking
      @gardenlikeaviking  Месяц назад +1

      if that works for you great but the sand will retain too much heat and just melt the tube and also will be very difficult trying to get all the sand out of everything and it will clog the sprayer emitter when using... plus it just isn't necessary if you take it slow... but thank you for the suggestion maybe someone will need to do it that way!

    I've only just found you and it's been a real eye opener.. I live in Greece and the soil is very poor, rocky and dry. I grow herbs, tough flowers and let the wild plants flourish. I don't grow vegetables as the soil is shallow and we often are without water for several days at a time. I grow as many drought tolerant plants as I can.
    I'm trying to improve my soil with my home made compost but it's not enough. Your liquid fertilizers are going to really help. I've already started a barrel with borage and my comfrey will be big enough to cut soon.
    Thank you so much - I feel there's now a solution to my problems. Hugs!

      We've lived in western Crete for 12 years but have been coming here for over 20 years. Our garden is small as we have an old village house but keeps me busy and happy.
      I have a question: I'm cutting back a huge, woody rosemary before it falls over! I've put lots of the softer prunings on the compost heap but there's far too much of it. I don't have a shredder and cutting it into small pieces by hand to use as a mulch is too difficult as I have arthritis. Any other ideas? Hugs from Crete!

    Thanks again, Nate, for such a great, no frills, to-the-point, instructional video. Question, why a pillowcase for this one compared to a paint strainer bag?

    • @gardenlikeaviking
      @gardenlikeaviking  Месяц назад +1

      The pillowcase never bursts with such weight and pressure of the larger amount and plus the fine mesh keeps the final product free of sediment... using a mesh strainer for the bigger brews and I always end up with large amounts of silt all over the place to clog things but with the pillow case that never happens

    • @michaellanning108
      @michaellanning108 Месяц назад

      @@gardenlikeaviking Okay great. I was just browsing Amazon, looking for mesh material to make a good filter. Would like to use this in a drip system if at all possible. Do you have any experience? I imagine it may be difficult not to clog the emitters.
