Thank you for this program - the fall of Granada is a historic turning point and is the beginning of modern times and the end of antiquity soon departed
Christopher Columbus, who was watching the battle of Granada, sailed across the Atlantic and discovered America in the same year. I am an Arab from Syria and interested in the history of Spain. I found your narration of the events realistic and non- prejudicial against Arabs and Muslims

The only reason it’s strange is because the reconquista has been idealized by the Spanish empire as a time of Christian kings fighting the infidel and a lot of the nobility whose family fought with both factions want that hushed over because Spain like France are supposed to be the “most” catholic of kingdoms and that doesn’t work when your founding fathers played both sides for personal gain.

I love your series but the cat is out the bag replace Arabs with moors this would place things in proper context. The geo politics of today, was set into motion during this time. The devide and conquest stratige was being developed during this time. This would clear up some of the misconceptions about the Christian black codes and the problems here in America today thank you
And yes Gusman is my blood line not a slave name. Al aunduloss or the fall of the red house is the base of the treaty of peace and friendship which in my opinion is the key too our salvation Christian and Islam alike.
Who do you think the nation of Islam is but a Moorish organization.

YONATANI RASILI GUSMAN Bey , Moors were force-converted from Christianity to Islam throughout North Africa in the 8th century. That is, those who were not outright slaughtered or enslaved. The Arab conquest of North Africa basically involved slaughtering the population of every other village as an example and a threat to larger villages and cities they conquered. Islam's legacy is evil, from the demonic words Muhammad heard spoken to him to the actions of his followers for the last 1400 years.
Christianity is the the path of Salvation and espouses virtues in alignment with God's will.
Ultimately there is no reconciliation between Islam and any other religion, especially Christianity. If humanity is going to find peace in alignment with God's will Islam must first be universally rejected.

@@jpmisterioman I'm 3 years late but, the Bible condemns slavery. So those "Christians" aren't real Christians.
